If he didnt he wouldnt have gave Nelson that big extension. Makes no sense to extend a guy then have him play off the bench. That will only prove Otis decision making is terrible, which it is, but he has to guy with the guy he decides. Meanwhile there is so many teams that need Arroyo now and will give him probaly Nelson type of contract if he decides to join them. I know you want Arroyo to be with Howard Lewis Turk when they win a championship but Otis thinks differently. If Otis wanted to keep Arroyo he wouldve gave Arroyo that extension not Nelson. They both had fair chances to prove themselves, they was given split time to prove their worth. Maybe he could be doubting his decision now for the nelson extension but he will never admit his mistake to the public. We all know that so its nothing he can do now. The contract is already drawn up and signed so if Arroyo wants to comeback in a smaller role and less money than go to another team and became the man and start and get paid like a starter then thats on him. I dont know anybody thats wants to take a smaller position and get paid less money than take a higher position and more money. His agent needs to step in and suggest options for Arroyo other then remaining with the Magic and not getting paid his worth. Hes still young and valuable. He needs to get as much money as he can while he can. Its all about money man. But if Arroyo is willing to make less money to remain here then we should keep him. Hell that would be a good deal for Otis if he can keep Arroyo for a less price. Its really great to see players that still play for pride and passion for the game but at the end of the day, its still a business. He have to think whats best for his family. Everybody wants to play, why be a backup with the talent he has. cuz darwin says you a hater lmao Quote

I do not know why? Well , here is what I had called Arroyo's game at crunch time: Last night Turk was our hero again but it seems that no one wants to recognize Arroyo's contribution at the end of the game. The Magic scored 15 pts since there were 6:35 left in the shot clock, Turk scored 8 of those pts. and Arroyo 7. Both Turk and Arroyo were the only Magic scorers during crunch time last night! also he made a costly turnover.howeer I pick him over jameer. Would you please could be more specific. What TO are you talking about and why (if any was made) it was costly? Last I check there was no costly TO at the end of the game. he throw the ball to hedo's leg.??dont remmeber.they could win the game from there. It was Rashard's leg on a fast break Quote
Bori Posted February 3, 2008 Report Posted February 3, 2008 LOL!!! After reading all this discussion and looking at the facts... it's obvious that OTIS is the one that shall be gone during the summer. He is the resposible for all this Los-Meer situation and he shall pay for it. He committed the huge mistake of signing Jameer to an over-payed extension too soon, that didn't make sense at all (and i'm still not counting Rashard's huge contract for being our 3rd offensive option in the team, that was also a huge mistake. For that amount of money we should have signed an All-Star power forward... we have Hedo at small forward already... why bring another one?) Those two situations are bad enough to fire Otis. Quote
