Flexo Posted February 1, 2008 Report Posted February 1, 2008 Did someone just say Redick has talent? LMAO.3 @ Arroyo fan, yeh; most of the guys are hateful ignorant chimps with nothing else better to post than hateful comments on Arroyo, even when he hits a clutch three or the undisputed fact he has the best chemistry with the starters whether they like it or not. Arroyo may not be playing amazing individually, but you have to respect his unselfish this season along with Dooling who's also very underrated and is very effective at driving to the basket and his defense is key. Howard looked tired today, sometimes I'm worried if we're over working him. Hence the reason why I cry for another banger to help Dwight out, instead of have him there by himself. Quote

bravlady Posted February 2, 2008 Report Posted February 2, 2008 I was at this game in Philly. The game started out with an eery quietness. The fans weren't into the game yet but by the half they'd had enough beers and it got very loud. I'm amazed by what goes on in the game that you don't see on TV. SVG was having a cow much more when the Magic were on offense. The team was not paying attention to Carlos and he was yelling at them to look at him to set up the offense. Dwight was getting really frustrated towards the end of the game not getting ball inside to him. The Magic were lucky when Hedo got fouled. A lot of people thought there was no foul and so did I until I saw it on TV later. It's a win, nothing too exciting about it. One thing I've learned going to sporting events in Philly is that their fans are not afraid to show their emotions. I'm surprised they didn't start throwing things at the refs. They've been known to throw trash and snowballs at Santa Claus and because of the last call, they were very much showing their dissatisfaction. Quote
Jameera Nelshon Posted February 2, 2008 Report Posted February 2, 2008 Fendi did not want this to be a topic for discussion as another thread. I do not know why? Well , here is what I had called Arroyo's game at crunch time: Last night Turk was our hero again but it seems that no one wants to recognize Arroyo's contribution at the end of the game. The Magic scored 15 pts since there were 6:35 left in the shot clock, Turk scored 8 of those pts. and Arroyo 7. Both Turk and Arroyo were the only Magic scorers during crunch time last night! Quote

What TO are you talking about and why (if any was made) it was costly? Last I check there was no costly TO at the end of the game. Quote

I think he's talking about the pass where it almost went over half court and Turk had to launch a desperation halfcourt shot. That bad pass did force us to lose that posession which left the game still tied. Philly then had the ball and missed that mid-range shot. Turk gets fouled, makes the FTs, Dwight saves us with his defense. If Philly makes the shot at the other end....its a totally diff ball game. Quote

Seems Arroyo's crunch time play isn't quite as good as some think Quote
