Magic Going All In For Chris Paul's Backup?

Recommended Posts

Who was the last elite point guard to win a championship?

Magic Johnson in 1988. You might get away with Isaiah Thomas in 1990.

Don't tell me Tony Parker and Chauncey Billups are "elite" because no.

Tony Parker, at this moment is a top 3 at least.

I think the "might get away with Isaiah" line is even MORE ludicrous than Tony Parker not being an elite PG.

Zeke was an all time great!

I dont know how you can think Tony Parker isn't an elite PG.

THIS, The man is playing better than Lebron in the playoffs. Although he probably wasn't considered elite the last time the Spurs won the championship

I don't want the PG to be the best player on our team. Just look at some of the superstars in the league: LeBron, Durant, Melo, George

Miami, OKC, NY and Indiana are in the top 5 teams in the league along with San Antonio.

The PG is supposed to be the sidekick (Parker, Westbrook).

Those are the "rules" in today's NBA and that's what we should follow, in my opinion.

But to say Tony Parker and Isiah Thomas are not elite is dumb

And that's why the Chicago Bulls struggled so bad against the Heat 2 years ago. Derrick Rose was the "MVP" but we all knew what would happen against the Heat

This deal looks incredibly fair and beneficial to both teams....which means it won't happen. I expect the Clips to get greedy and ask for something like our #2 pick as well.

Until the Clippers sign Chris Paul this deal is just as possible as mermaids being real.

According to my sister who watches Animal Planet, that' mermaid part is actually looking pretty possible.

Funny - JUST read about that animal planet thing. The show is meant to be science fiction. hahahahaa which is even MORE similar to this trade.
