I think most people regardless of who we beat and when is how we are going to do in the playoffs. I think we can beat everyone on a regular basis except for the top 4 or 5 teams. We need a pf and as much as everyone loves or hates the jameer/arroyo fanatics we need a pg that does it all.

and everyone can beat us like nets,bobcats,memphis without gasol,kings without their best 3 players......

 

Well any team can be beat, but on a regular basis, I think we would kill those teams. We are the upper tier of good teams, just not the top 4 or 5. Where do you think we rank?

Now, in the playoffs, teams look to use the opponent's weakneses to their advantage as much as possible and it's there were I think Meer will hurt us more than help us. He may try to disguise it by taking the offense in his hands and having high scoring games but; is that what we need? I hope I'm wrong and when we get to the playoffs no team will abuse of Meer but the contrary. Well ,they can abuse him as long as we win the games. lol

 

Arroyo might do a little better than Meer because of his height, but at the end Chauncey abuse of any of them since Arroyo may be taller but he's not known for his defensive skills that I know off.

Oso, you must have noticed that Billups failed to get afield goal against both of our PG's during the first half, so at least they were defending well when he is not in his goto mode. He can score against any PG or SG in this league but when he does he diminishes his assist rate and not necessarily will get a win. At that point in time in the game Carlos was assigned to Hamilton who he had been guarding most of the night(not to badly by the way) but there was no way Stan could take the risk of Hamilton putting us down. Yes, his move was the right one but if we had gone to overtime I would have brought Carlos back in.

i really wish everyone would stop wanting to get miller....the guy is over 30!!!! we don't want to give up someone who's young for someone who's on the tail-end of their career simply to have a little short-term success.

we're building a championship DYNASTY...a team that year in, year out will compete for a championship...not a one-and-done team.

 

give the andre miller trades a rest; we don't want him because in a year or two, he'll be useless and we'll be right back where we started except we wouldn't have the young guy we gave up to get andre.

yeah miller is doing good, but he's a bit too old, we need a young guy, deron williams, chris paul, we can't trade for a guy like that, so we can only hope that we don't fumble the draft again, if we can pull our drafting hat together, i don't mind trading off a guy like garrity for a draft pick, you'd probably have to slide someone else in there to get minnesota's draft pick.

well, miller is just 3yrs older than lewis but lewis' contract is 4yrs longer than millers. and btw, other than lewis (who could become a $120mill-kapono) miller doesn't really live on his athletism and pace. so, age won't hurt him that much. his contract ends in 2009 and then he'll sign for less money or if he doesn't fit in, we still could trade his expiring for a solid player. jameer on the other hand probably will never became the player some think he will be.
