No man, the crucial piece of that deal is retaining Evans and Cook. We could trade for Ariza with those two.

I was thinking last night about the game against Detroit and this crazy idea came to me. We noticed how SVG took out Arroyo at the end of the game, apparently to bring players with enough height to defend the Pistons. Yes, some of you smarties already know what comes next. What would SVG have done if Jameer was ready to play? Do you think he would had taken him out or do you think Meer would have stayed in the game? This is a good questions for a poll. LOL! That was a very interesting strategy and it kinda surprised me since lately SVG looked like he was running out of ideas. It worked perfect because it was for a short time, and all we needed was someone (Dooling) to bring the ball to the front court and give it to Hedo who took care of playing the playmaker for that period of time (of course, specificly designed for him to create a play). We know that Detroit always abuse of poor Jameer when he's on the court, although Jameer pays them back by scoring back in their faces, but then the game turns into a war between Detroit vs Meer and we know the results of those games. I think Detroit is the team that always uses that liability from Jameer and exploits it to the max. Again, we know that Jameer always fights back, but that doesn't exclude the fact of his liability. In the regular season we don't see this disadvantage as much because teams are not playing a series against us, but a number of games, so they simply go to the next game and make a few adjustments only. Now, in the playoffs, teams look to use the opponent's weakneses to their advantage as much as possible and it's there were I think Meer will hurt us more than help us. He may try to disguise it by taking the offense in his hands and having high scoring games but; is that what we need? I hope I'm wrong and when we get to the playoffs no team will abuse of Meer but the contrary. Well ,they can abuse him as long as we win the games. lol

 

Arroyo might do a little better than Meer because of his height, but at the end Chauncey abuse of any of them since Arroyo may be taller but he's not known for his defensive skills that I know off.
