we've gotta step up our game even MORE...

Detroit could've and maybe should've won this game...they were missing open looks that they never ever miss...shooting 43%...thats remarkably unusual...

and i have a feeling those shots will be falling on Friday...

but also, lets not overlook wednesday's game vs. Memphis...they played an excellent game today...yes, it was vs. Chi-Town, but it was still good...

we have to keep this rhythm going...if we do, we can win these tough ones this week...

GO MAGIC!!

I think this will be a big confidence boost for our club. This win is huuuge for us. We now know we can compete with anyone (in the east anyways).

It'll be interesting to see how we respond against Memphis and even more interesting to see how we play in MoTown after this biggy.

Although I would like to think that our defense had something to do with that 43% shooting, I would still have to agree that the whole city of Detroit will be out for blood friday night. We need to keep this game close because Detroit will want to run up the score, and call last night a fluke. For playoffs sake we need to at least compete in friday's game.

Agreed. For the most part they're message boards are saying that. We played our best and squeaked by. As much as im ecstatic with our win last night, we really need to show up Friday night.

We have to start somewhere. Up till now, we've played hard against them and haven't gotten close. So we are taking baby steps against them. The key will be to take the same enthusiasm and energy to the Palace.

The only reason we won lastnight is our active and willing D.

Yes they had a 43% shooting because of our tight D, I loved it. In the second half Hedo's literally fighting with Wallace and disturbing him non-stop was too much fun and admirable.

Dwight was scaring them to get into the paint that they scored one of their low points game in the paint. Dooling's unfinished energy on both ends was amazing. Bogan's D was very good. Cook and Foyle struggled abit but came out just fine. (Hats off to Cook, everyday he is getting better). Arroyo is our true PG, I love his court vision. Shard proved once more what calibre player he is.

To cut it short, we were a TEAM last night.
