weezt0e Posted March 30, 2007 Report Posted March 30, 2007 "Despite GM Otis Smith's vow to keep Brian Hill, the players are unanimous in wanting him gone. Hill's relationship with star Dwight Howard turned irrevocably sour when the coach told his center not to be late for the Monday practice after All-Star Weekend." bhnole Posted March 30, 2007 Report Posted March 30, 2007 That is all it says quote: "Despite GM Otis Smith's vow to keep Brian Hill, the players are unanimous in wanting him gone. Hill's relationship with star Dwight Howard turned irrevocably sour when the coach told his center not to be late for the Monday practice after All-Star Weekend." It will be in their April print issue of "ESPN the Magazine" Hopefully, someone in the local media will actually pick up on this and check the validity. Considering Brian's radio show was mysteriously cancelled last night, I think you might be seeing the beginning of the end for Brian. Quote
~O~ Posted March 30, 2007 Report Posted March 30, 2007 EXCELLENT AVATAR BHNOLE AND OF COURSE THEY ARE HATE HILL Quote

The Solution Posted March 30, 2007 Report Posted March 30, 2007 When the word get's out the Magic will need to go with an assistant coach until the end of the year. Good find-weezt0e. I read your recent realgm post about your workload and the status of www.firebrianhill.org Quote

I disagree. For anything to happen now would be stupid; or would it? Hmmmm..... I honestly think IF any coaching changes are made, it will be in the offseason. But who knows, a change now might spark our players and we'll go on a 26 game winning streak ;-) Quote

I want that playing on a loop in my house at all times. Back to the topic, this was bound to happen and usually where there is smoke there is fire. We have seen Otis step in twice now in an effort to salvage this disaster of a season. I said this before, if your boss has to step in and do your job for you because you are unable to come up with a way to do it, then that boss should be looking at giving you the pink slip Quote
weezt0e Posted March 30, 2007 Author Report Posted March 30, 2007 If the players all hate Hill, then the time for a change is now. They will be better off if they are at least happy and know that a new coach is comming. I think they are underperforming because of unhappiness now. Solution- hopefully I'll get a chance this weekend to update some stuff. I already posted this ESPN thing cause I couldn't resist. Quote
jack daniel 999 Posted March 30, 2007 Report Posted March 30, 2007 I guess we'll see ... right now this is just here-say. When I see proof... I 'll believe it. Quote

Considering Brian's radio show was mysteriously cancelled last night, I think you might be seeing the beginning of the end for Brian. So it is written by one of the ESPN writers? There has to be some credibility to it if that's the case. Its pretty rare for a GM to step up and blast the team in the press. Its never a good sign for the coach. Quote
