Dwights my Hero Posted January 16, 2008 Report Posted January 16, 2008 carlos arroyo, keyon dooling, brian cook, maurice evans, pat garrity, marcin gortat, adonal foyle, keith bogans, james augustine, jameer nelson They all need to go, but you still can't get a clue that you made a mistake and that our team is a joke outside of dwight and turk. ( Even rashard is a joke because of that stupid contract) Sack up and clean up your mistakes and fix this roster. You obviously know nothing about the game of basketball if you think that our players are good enough. Quote

BRich Posted January 16, 2008 Report Posted January 16, 2008 yeah. I understand there aren't quick fixes in basketball - but there's times where you have to admit its not just the chemistry of the team and its the actual personnel. There's obvious holes on this team - and if you're not trying to make any kind of move, you're not doing justice to the people who support Orlando. Or the players who can't get any minutes because they don't fit in your coaches bi-polar system. Quote
Dwights my Hero Posted January 16, 2008 Author Report Posted January 16, 2008 You have the easiest job in all of basketball because of Dwight Howard, but you still can't surround him with talent. Take off your Magic goggles and try to realize that this team isnt going anywhere. Quote
Dwights my Hero Posted January 16, 2008 Author Report Posted January 16, 2008 B-Rich you are by far the smartest person I have met on this message board so far. Well said. Quote
Erik Posted January 16, 2008 Report Posted January 16, 2008 Honestly, goin back to the summer, when we needed the Sg spot filled, and the PF spot fit, what in the world would have made him think that Lewis was the answer to both positons, last year we striggled playing Hill, and Turk together, this year were playing Shard and Turk together, what's the difference? Battie goes down,we get the injury exception, and come up with a trade invloving one of our young up and comers, for a guy who is just as good, and won't get any better(older) and a guy who sits on the bench all season, and when he gets to play, conributes, and sits the next game,I don't think managment has a clue of how to make the team better, and the coaching staff is limited at what they can do, do to the poor disicion making of managment( Otis). Sinister Grin Posted January 16, 2008 Report Posted January 16, 2008 I will sign a Fire Otis Smith petition. Hey it worked for Brian Hill didn't it? He really has no clue. Quote
SauceMoney Posted January 16, 2008 Report Posted January 16, 2008 Hey if somebody starts a petition. Im ready to sign it. Please quit. Please. You dont have a clue how to build a team. Quote
Denver Magic Posted January 16, 2008 Report Posted January 16, 2008 As a first time poster here, IMO I think what we need is a legitimate, classic point guard. We need a PG who will dish out 8-10 assists per game. Nelson averages under 6 per game. Unacceptable. Quote
Y-Studios Posted January 16, 2008 Report Posted January 16, 2008 Ill give him until the all-star break....... Quote

I think that's a less-talked-about subject because it's so difficult to find that kind of PG. Unless we really want Jason Kidd, I'm not sure we have any avenue to obtain that type of point guard. A problem of equal size is probably our lack of physicality at PF, wouldn't you say? And can a healthy Battie fill that role? Quote
