It appears he's going to find a role as a closer and that is not necessarily a bad thing as long as the rest of the team learns how to react in that situation. Quote
gAmE.oVe|2 Posted January 13, 2008 Report Posted January 13, 2008 its easy to shoot and not miss when no one is guarding you Quote
bringithomerashard Posted January 13, 2008 Report Posted January 13, 2008 oh yea gameove2? id love to see you make 27 straight 3's with no one guarding you lol Quote
lavell12 Posted January 14, 2008 Report Posted January 14, 2008 I bet we could get a decent amount of picks for JJ from the Suns imagine JJ in that offense, he would put up 25 a night. Quote
n_cruz69 Posted January 14, 2008 Report Posted January 14, 2008 quote: Remember last year when JJ and Diener were messing around after shoot around and he shot the ball from several rows up in the stands? He made the basket They were practicing their game situation shots. :P Quote
30Assists Posted January 14, 2008 Report Posted January 14, 2008 The Magic need to play pick-and-roll if they're going to untilize JJ's talents. For that matter, it would help Jameer and Dwight, too. Not sure why we haven't gone to the same style of play that Stockton-Malone-Hornacek used. Granted, 'Meer isn't Stockton, but still - pick-and-rolls make average PGs look awfully good. Quote
StufFtheMagicDragon Posted January 15, 2008 Report Posted January 15, 2008 Stan's offense doesn't involve many pick and rolls. Just Howard going up to to screen and them coming back down to get foul and put on the line. That and Rashard/Hedo/Bogans chucking up threes. Pick and rolls dont exist and that's the strategy. Too bad every other team knows exactly what we're gonna do. I know what they're gonna do! Quote
