royce59 Posted March 30, 2007 Report Posted March 30, 2007 If jermaine o neal is out, dwight should have a huge agem, and even if he is doubled this must leave someone open, so they can either leave a shooter open and doble dwight as only oneal could copntain him, or let him explode for a monster game. You forget one issue in this scenario: Dwight Howard is a terrible passer out of the double team. I'd almost rather have O'neal play and have Indiana try to match-up one on one than have them double Dwight. This is the main reason Howard leads the league in turnovers. Whenever the double team comes, he either delays kicking the pass out or passes the ball lazily allowing quicker guards to jump the passing lanes. Quote
