I got it to work. Here's what you do...

This is the code you get from YouTube....

<object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eBGIQ7ZuuiU&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eBGIQ7ZuuiU&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object>

All you have to do is wrap HTML tags around the YouTube embed code. So start your post with <html> and then insert the YouTube code and then end with </html>.

And this is what you get...

<html><object width="425" height="355"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eBGIQ7ZuuiU&rel=1"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eBGIQ7ZuuiU&rel=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="355"></embed></object></html>

I'm still not getting it Rock...

Now in the post that you explained how to get it to work, you put the html tags on the embed code but it didn't work... But in the next post it did... What did you do differently?

I viewed the page sourse and noticed that in the one that it worked it read as it should <html><embed... etc. But in the previous post, instead of a "<" it read "<"

For some reason it is changing "<" to "<" and not reading the code correctly... Thoughts?

I have a feeling that when you post a video, your entire post has to be done in HTML...

Yes...this does work. That means type html (with brackets around it) and then begin your message. Then insert the YouTube code and continue your message if necessary. Make sure to close the message by concluding with /html (with brackets around it.

Rock:

In the previous post all I did was copy and paste from the post above that that you changed... It must be something that you can do and I can't... Is there a setting I have to change to have it do html too? Or perhaps only mods have the power?

Yeah...that must be it because I opened that post and hit save and the video appears. Let me play around with the settings some more to see if I can open more access to everyone.
