These are just opinions, silly or not, and stimulate discussions. The bottomline is that JJ is a talented player and if needed, and not necessarily full time, could step into a position, and if only for a play or two, bring the ball down the court, and call the play. If that results in an assist for him and a couple of points for a team struggling in that department, then so be it. No doubt he's a shooting guard. But he's also well rounded and is learning. A few of the Veterans could learn a lesson or two from the Rookie. It's call heart and love of the game.

Well based on last night's game against Chicago I no longer think its quite as laughable. No he's not a point guard but its sad when a shooter thinks more about good passing than the guys playing the point. Besides the one pass he made on a baseline drive he moves the ball around quite adequately.

not enough experience for him right now. in the future he will be great. his defense can improve, and so can his open court game. he's a great shooter, but he could pass some too.
