Gentlemen, gentlemen, listen to reason. No doubt this is a hilarious thread, but in actuality is was no more than a very elaborate and well crafted "Rick Roll". The Venues thread was 90 pages of comic genius that came during the most gut wrenching, ball-shrinking night of our lives. It had such an unassuming beginning, at that. All it was created for was to tell us that we could watch the City Counsel meeting online, and look what it became. Talk about you Cinderella stories! In addition, having that kind of comedy on a city-defining, life-altering night like that is unprecedented. In fact, I want the entire Venues thread re-enacted live at my funeral with all contributing parties there. My part, of course, will be played by Burt Reynolds. What I'm trying to say is, The Venues thread is the king of this castle, and always will be. To say anything other is blasphemous.

It's not that I didn't know it was there. I definitely saw it. I just thought everyone was talking about the voting for 1,000 or so posts.

 

The "Dear" thread was good, but I guess the venues thread will never be surpassed....
