Optimist Prime 197 Report post Posted April 2, 2013 My link I have to say, when I watched the videos on NBA.com, my heart started to ache a little. But I'd be wrong to deny that he deserves to be retired by them. He did a lot for that organization. What are the thoughts around the board?
Atli 13 Report post Posted April 3, 2013 I think it's a shrewd move made to make Dwight Howard want to stay in LA
Optimist Prime 197 Report post Posted April 3, 2013 I think it's a shrewd move made to make Dwight Howard want to stay in LA Didn't think about that. It's an interesting thought, and kudos to the Lakers FO for thinking of it. ...I hate the Lakers.
Mauro Pedrosa 1,031 Report post Posted April 3, 2013 Obviously I wasn't here when Shaq left but I don't resent Dwight Howard either. I wanted him gone as much as he wanted to leave, I didn't like the 1 inside 4 outside offense and his constant free throw woes. I don't wish bad on the Lakers Shaq was obviously a great player and one of the biggest characters in the sport when I started watching basketball.
Atli 13 Report post Posted April 3, 2013 Find it hilarious though that Shaq predicted that the Lakers would miss the playoffs, and there he is sitting... watching the game. I wonder if he even cares if the Lakers win it or not.
Trey Time 186 Report post Posted April 3, 2013 All bull**** aside that every Magic fan in the 90's can attest to, Shaq definitely deserves his number to be retired in LA. He is one of the most dominant centers of all time.
