richnba 3 Report post Posted February 17, 2007 I am not sold on Oden just yet, he looks like he should be in the NBA...... An that really tarnishes him........ If he stays in college at least 1 more year he will benift tremendously from it..... He is not ready for the NBA....
nbr 15 Report post Posted February 22, 2007 I won't debate the two but after seeing more it will be pleasing to witness these two and many other talents in the next step! On Durant I can't really pinpoint a resemblance in his game. If he's lucky maybe he can get away with just being Kevin Durant. Marc Acres 3:16 418 Report post Posted March 8, 2007 It's still kinda early but, there was a quote on hoopshype that Durant told his teammates that he is coming back next year. If he is serious, and we are hearing the same thing from Oden there is a chance that any team tanking this season could be in for a bad suprise.
Live or Die Magic 383 Report post Posted March 8, 2007 Man, you aren't kidding! I still think it will be a deep draft, but without those two, there won't be any "franchise" players. I'd feel sorry for Boston if that happened. It would be 1997 all over again.

If the Magic could pick Oden they would do it just like any other GM would. I wouldn't worry about Darko in that case; I'd worry about Dwight. Oden has the same game as Dwight, just 3 years behind. While that's certainly desirable to a team, where would he play? The lanes are clogged enough as is, and Oden has little outside shot.
