Probably a top 100 player in the class. Big body. Really good scorer inside. Jumper improved last season. If he can shoot 35%+ he's an NBA player but he's not good enough on defense to be a 5 so he has to have the jumper to be a 4. And look everyone is going to scoff at that because of our shooting but that's not being fixed by a UDFA anyway so if you can get one in your building that you have a chance of extracting value out of that's a win in my opinion. One thing I really like is he played in college the way I'm hoping we want Paolo to play more next season: high post catches, low post catches, roll man, spot up shots, transition baskets. So let's get him some touches in summer league and the likes of Penda, Jase and Nelson can figure out where they fit around a guy doing those things (but at a much higher level). And in training camp he can kind of simulate some of that stuff in lineups Paolo isn't involved in. Quote

I see the Nelson move and this move as Weltman prepping us to guard the Wembys, OGs, and Siakims of the league. As they’re end of the bench guys, I support the moves. I’m still hoping for improvement at PG and better overall shooting. Quote

Also I think inviting Joseph Pinion to Summer League would be an easy win. Played with Nelson at USF, 6'5, can shoot. He probably doesn't make the league but worth a look. Quote
