orlandoholic Posted June 19 Report Posted June 19 It’s kinda tough to predict 46. I hope we are aggressive and try to trade up. Brazile Jack Kayil Onyenso Okpara Tarris Reed (1st rounder?) Baba Miller would interest me the most in the second round. Rafael Castro looks nice on YouTube, don’t really know much about him. The numbers are intriguing though! Quote

I've dug into him a little bit because the stats are so enticing. Cliff notes: - terrible hands on offense - terrific hands on defense both in passing lanes and swiping the ball from ball handlers. - bad finisher around the rim for someone his size playing mid competition - has flashed some really impressive dribble moves and post moves at times even if he's still very raw for a guy who's a 23 year old senior - nice feel as a passer - really impressive mobility and fluidity for someone his size. Can hang on the perimeter in switches. - will likely never be a shooter - ridiculous FT rate which I don't really expect to carry over to the professional game to be honest - awesome rebounder He kind of gives the vibe of less explosive Nerlens Noel. EDIT: just put some of his stat benchmarks into barttorvik and the only two drafted guys who came up were Anthony Davis and Jordan Bell. Weird combo. Quote

Luke_FfS Posted June 20 Report Posted June 20 As usual I've no idea about prospects, if we don't trade up our is not going a big deal I fear, what about the top ones? I've heard all season that this one was a gread draft, but there seem to be no consensous still. Is the level of the top3/5 that high? Quote
CTMagicUK Posted June 20 Author Report Posted June 20 Surprised Darrion Williams isn't in many 2 round mock drafts. I get he's a below average athlete and kind of an undersized 4 because of it but he can shoot the 3 ball well and he has great playmaking feel and vision. Good rebounder for his size too. That's a guy I'd at least want to get into my gym on a 2 way and see if he can stick off of smarts and effort. Quote
