orlandoholic Posted April 25 Report Posted April 25 I don’t want to sound negative. One observation that pisses me off though. I’ve seen it multiple times in the season and in this game as well. Why tf does Bitadze spot up in the corner for a 3? Like wtf?! Paolo gets the ball on top of the key and drives on the side Bitadze is lined up. Either Bitadze stays in that corner and his man just leaves him there, or Bitadze runs towards the rim and he brings his man even closer to Paolo. God damnit man. Bitdze can onlydunk or finish near the rim. if Paolo handles the ball, he needs to be in that opposite dunkers spot and wait for the lob or clean up the board. Wtf are we doing. This is not even a new issue. I remember when we decided to take away the ball from Markelle, our best PG at the time, and just spot him up in the corner. That was when his jumper was broken again. I was at the game and I couldn't be more proud of how our magic fans showed up and showed out being loud and engaged with the chants. I truly think it played a big role in willing this team on offense and defense. Was really cool to see a blackout today with the black shirts they gave out. Go magic! Quote

All Eyes On Me Posted April 26 Report Posted April 26 The best part of it all was taking the counter punch, being in a position to fold and lose this game with no momentum on our side and not doing it. What a championship level response led by Franz. Also, Detroit looked awful for most of the game. Ausar and Tobias aren’t going to do that every game on the offensive side of the ball. We had Cade about as shook as I’ve ever seen him, 9 turnovers! We can beat these guys! Magic in 6! Quote

hootie249 Posted April 26 Report Posted April 26 Yeah there was so many Magic players responsible for the off games on the Pistons. They shook Cade,Duren(LOL) and even Tobias in the first half. The incredible defense is still there, mostly on individual effort. Paolo,Franz,Suggs,Black,Bane(before he looked hurt) and yes...even Cain. We just Have to cut out the stupid ****, but i need to remember these guys are young. Pistons did worse stupid **** in the game. Quote

I mean they legit looked bad. Basketball is weird man, they had a 13 game winning streak before losing these last three games. SMDH. Quote
Luke_FfS Posted April 26 Report Posted April 26 Great win, game 3 after stealing one away is a key, key one, as SA and Boston showed regaining the advantage. Similar situation we had in Game 1: if we're able to win the rebound battle, and reduce their second best player (Duren) to a non-factor or a normal performance, we have a good chance of winning the game. Also, the ability of react when they're back in the game, draw it, and we don't allow them to take control. Need to stay focused on little details in this series. Quote

Pistons did worse stupid **** in the game. even if it is my least favourite player, i think you should add wcj there. he was even more valuable than all the rest during games 1 and 3 sadly i dont think he can keep this up, but he was excellent for those matches Quote
