If Franz plays 60 games and doesn't get injured in the playoffs this season we're likely the 5th seed and make the second round even with blatant coaching issues and the Tyus move really setting our bench back for the first half of the season. If you think Sweeney is a measurably better coach than Mosely and you can improve the bench this summer that means you're probably a 50 win team minimum. Yea you're absolutely right really. In general rookies don't help winning teams, especially late first rounders. Any vet you can get on the minimum will actually count about the same if not less against the cap than a late first round pick too. Quote

I’m sure we inquired, but when Paolo or Franz straight up wasn’t enough, we said eff it and moved on. Really interested to see who wins the arms race. Sounds like it’s down to Miami, Boston, Minnesota. Wouldn’t hate Giannis winding up out West. Quote

I honestly kind of hope it's Miami because I just don't think a Bam/Giannis core is really good enough to win but they'll go all in around it anyway and cripple their future for like a 2 year run.
