Trade Suggs in a package deal to the Nuggets to get Jamal Murray. Trade Wendell for any center capable of playing more than 1 good game in a row.

Murray/Bane/Banchero/Franz/? Would be an amazing top 5

My very ignorant view on what I'd like this off-season:

Mose has got to go.  Doesn't matter who we put on the floor if we're running the "offense" we've been running.  We need a coach who won't wait until it's a 20-0 run before calling a timeout, or keeping challenges like they carry over between games.

Weltman can stay (for now), but only if he can sign a head coach that will get this offense where it should be with what we already have on the roster.  And he needs to get a true PG, and a defensive big.  If he can't (or won't) get a true PG or a defensive big, or fire Mose, then he can turn in his badge too.

Suggs needs a "come to Jesus" meeting.  Weltman is bringing in a true starting PG so Suggs can slide to his natural 2-guard spot.  But he needs to fully embrace the "3 and D" role, and any hero-ball type play results in a trip to Osceola.

The medical team needs to go.  It's been 2-3 seasons in a row where the top players on this team are basically missing the season because of injury.  Find a way to get House MD or something.

Franz and everyone else needs to skip playing international ball this off-season.  Give your body a rest for a change, might help them actually heal up a little.

Every player on this team needs to be locked in the gym every single day, with no food or water, until they can make 10 3s in a row and 50 FTs in a row.  Someone dies of dehydration, then a roster spot opens up.

LOL.   Love the last part.  No one has advocated more for a PG in this forum than me over the years, but if Suggs slides to the 2 with a true PG in the 1, then you only have two spots left for Banchero, Wagner, and Bane, assuming you still have a center.  So in that scenario, I think Suggs goes to the bench.

I strongly disagree on Weltman staying, it implies the roster is fine and the coaching is the sole problem which is just nowhere near true.

Mose has to go and he will, foregone conclusion at this point, game 6 was the nail in his coffin. But to get this team to a contender level we need to make trades, we don’t have any real money to work with in FA, and I don’t trust Weltman to actually make trades.

True, I honestly forgot about Bane.  Then yeah Suggs as 6th man.

Completely agree that Weltman lacks the stones to fix what ails the team and needs to go. His unwillingness/inability to address the poor shooting issue over the last 5-6 years and continue to trot out a flawed roster each season speaks volumes.

While there are many changes to staff that need to be made, the top of my list includes a training staff that can actually get guys in the shape to withstand a season

The Suggs contract looks really bad right now, and this might be one of those only trades we could pull off. Murray is owed a lot of money. Weltman really blew it with a lot of these contracts.

Then the new FO will decide all the rest, about coaching staff and everything else. I still believe we've a few good pieces in the roster, we're still young, we just need better direction/decisions/smart people on the right roles.
