Given this is a primary location for help to be sent towards Paolo/Franz on drives from the wing this HAS to be an area of improvement both internally and by roster additions. As floated on here, the Isaiah Joe trade makes sense. I’m hoping for more, but this should be the minimum type of move we make. Quote
Soul Bro Posted June 16 Author Report Posted June 16 I’m still hoping for a Jrue Holiday for Suggs trade, and I’d honestly be excited to go after Brown or Giannis. I’m not sold Paolo can take us to the promised land. Quote

Please someone talk me off the ledge… also, Franz’ fit would be perfect in SA… Harper/Castle/Vassell/Franz/Wemby would be a dynasty I'm with you on this one, All Eyes On Me. I do not want Fox here with the Magic. He's just as bad as Suggs. Just the thought makes me almost have a heart attack like Fred Sanford. Quote

Seriously, beyond shooting and other skills, one thing I think this team is missing is that consistent, accountable, competitive fire. Bane brought some of that, but I’d like to see more of it on our roster. Edit: That’s why Brown appeals to me. I think Bane, Brown, and Franz would be a great trio. Quote
Luke_FfS Posted June 16 Report Posted June 16 I believe the % of possibility we trade for Fox is around 0,00001, I mean, FO wasn't interested when he was on a short affordable contract and we really really needed a move for a PG, should be even less interested now with that new contract, that we really can't afford given our situation. Even if it's the true PG we are sorely missing for so long, is also not good enough on 3's to be a good fit. CT, I'm expecting less too, as usual! :P Quote
orlandoholic Posted June 16 Report Posted June 16 What if we get this done? ORL get Giannis MIL get Suggs, AB, TDS, Isaac Imo that’s the best package i’ve seen out there for Milwaukee. gotta attach a pick or something. Quote

Miami offer is better, especially when you add the picks. Which is key to any trade for Giannis. I think Milwaukee wants a similar package that we got for Dwight Howard. Quote
The Neighborhood Bully Posted June 16 Report Posted June 16 Quote The former Dallas Mavericks head of basketball operations also made a critical mistake that helped New York end its 53-year title drought: He fired perhaps the best injury-prevention mastermind in the sport, Casey Smith, who landed with the Knicks in 2024. It's hard to overstate Smith's impact in New York. When he took over the Knicks' medical team almost two years ago to the day, the Knicks were injured so often, the futility reached almost comical levels. And now, they were the healthiest team, the last one standing. In 2023-24, the season before Smith came aboard, the Knicks ranked 10th in salary lost due to injury, with almost $36 million worth of salary on the shelf, according to Spotrac.com tracking. In Smith's first season running the show, that fell to 23rd in the NBA. This season, it dropped all the way to 29th. https://sports.yahoo.com/nba/article/how-nico-harrison-helped-jalen-brunson-and-the-knicks-win-the-championship-183200468.html Stealing Casey Smith from the Knicks is at the top of my offseason hopes and dreams. Shine88 Posted June 16 Report Posted June 16 We need to steal the Knicks shooting coach. He has tied to Sweeney from there time in Dallas. He also should bring Igor Kokoskov. Another guy from Dallas. Quote
