Just realising Sweeney was on the staff in Detroit in 18-19 when Blake Griffin had a career year.

That's an interesting reference point to bring to our team with Paolo.

One thing from watching Blake tape from that season is how much he plays like a big vs Paolo who plays like a wing. Id like to see Paolo lean more into big man stuff (roll man, DHO etc) think that could help with his efficiency. He's not really shown any want to do that to date but I'm hoping that's a Mosely thing...

Good point. Given his recent weight loss, I’m guessing he’s wanting to be more like Tatum than Griffin. If that’s the case, he’s really got to work on his outside shot, handle, and quick decision-making.

Agreed. He played much more like a big at Duke I felt like though and he was slim then so hoping the weight loss is more about stamina.

That’s fair. He did look exhausted in games, and his hops also seemed to have suffered.

You know what, that's fair. My bad id not considered that theoretically trades could be happening right now.

No worries at all CT just sharing an article with some very unlikely ideas that haven’t been discussed.

As far as Paolo playing more like a PF or a big. I think this is what he has been wanting the last few years. He has pushed for a PG to handle the primary ball handling duties. With Mosely we would always revert to “Paolo save us from the top of the three point line offense”.

Like you and others have mentioned he would be better served being more of a finisher. I’d like to see him be closer to Giannis than Tatum on offense.  He should be living in the paint.

NEWS: Luigi Suigo has withdrawn from the NBA Draft and committed to Villanova, Sigma Sports and Excel Sports tell DraftExpress.

The 7'4, 289-pound 19-year-old will be a physical outlier in the Big East who can pass, space the floor, protect the rim, and finish effectively.

Damn, was hoping we could trade up for him. Big time get for Nova.

I can’t emphasize this enough!! I’ve been literally screaming on here.

Paolo needs to be an offensive hub and not a PG or Wing.

I’m looking at Brazile and Jack Kayil. Also stumbled upon Rafael Castro

Giannis to Boston?

Quote

”Offseason trade rumors surrounding Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo have taken a dramatic turn, with the Boston Celticsemerging as a legitimate contender, challenging the long-presumed favorites, the Miami Heat. Reports from The Athletic indicate that Boston’s pursuit hinges on a crucial factor: Antetokounmpo’s willingness to sign a four-year, $275 million extension upon joining the team…

He [Bill Simmons] confidently declared that the Celtics are already engaged in the pursuit, stating, “I think they dove in. From what I heard, they made an offer,” which took rival front offices by surprise. Instead of viewing this interest as a mere leverage tactic to increase Miami’s asking price, Simmons asserted that the Celtics are actively involved. He boldly predicted that the Celtics would succeed in acquiring the superstar forward, anticipating that the monumental trade could be finalized as early as next week.“

If this is true, I think the only team who can beat Boston’s offer is Orlando. This week should be wild.

I think the Spurs will swoop in for an offer!!!

Bucks get Fox and Vassell plus Picks

Spurs get Giannis and Portis

The Spurs also have ton of cap space to add players to win now.

Giannis to SA would be crazy. I think the only way Milwaukee does that kind of deal is if they get Harper or Castle.
