orlandoholic Posted April 23 Report Posted April 23 Mosley would have been the perfect coach for tha KD, Harden Brooklyn team. Nice guy, good motivator but the offense is „my turn, your turn“ I hope we get a GM that actually knows what’s going on. I’m reading Donovan rumors. That scares me, because he is basically a more experienced Mosley. I like our squad a lot. Our starting lineup has so much potential, if we get a coach that can actually install a system that the players follow through. I’m really starting to think Kerr here. But my target would actually be JJ Reddick! He’s doing great things with that Lakers team imo. It’s not easy to manage the egos of Luka and Lebron. Imo he succeeded. That’s a long shot though. I’d be patient right now. Jenkins scares me for our team. He was also about pace and space and our team is not build for him. But to be fair, he could have developed in the meantime. Unfortunately Mosley never managed to develop any aspect of coaching during his time. He’s somehow the same he’s ever been Quote

McCollum was a guy i wanted at the deadline. unfortunately Atlanta came out of left field and traded Trae Young for him. but i doubt Weltman would have snagged him in the buyout market Quote

Mosley has the Magic holding a 2-1 series lead over the Pistons entering Monday night's Game 4 in Orlando. According to The Athletic's Sam Amick, "The prospect of knocking off the East's top contender en route to the second round — or maybe going even farther if they got past the winner of the Cleveland-Toronto series — would certainly warrant a second look at his situation from the Magic's power brokers, no matter how much speculation might be swirling about his ousting." Amick detailed the rumors that had surrounded Mosley amid Orlando's up-and-down 2025-26 campaign, and he revealed that former Chicago Bulls head coach Billy Donovan and Milwaukee Bucks assistant Darvin Ham already emerged as replacement candidates. "There has been chatter about him being in trouble since October, and it spiked even more when the underperforming Magic somehow lost to Boston's B-Team in their regular-season finale," Amick stated. "Former Bulls coach Billy Donovan and Milwaukee associate head coach/former Lakers head coach Darvin Ham have already been pegged as likely options to replace him. Mosley, meanwhile, has even been tied to the vacant New Orleans job." However, Mosley won't be able to make a move to the Big Easy if he still has a job in Orlando.
