But Goga is probably a slightly overpaid (in the new NBA reality) backup big who's had DNP-CDs on occasion and I made this post before I saw the number of teams allegedly interested in him. Also in my post I literally said I'd waive Temple and try and move Agbaji again (I think a 6mil expiring wing who's young and had at least 1 decent season is likely an easier sell than 2 years of a backup big if you're matching salary in a trade). Teams are apparently trying to gauge if he's available and like... He might be the perfect big to play next to Paolo. Not the rebounder you'd like but rim protection + floor spacing. Then you could have moved Wendell + stuff for a guard who can come off the bench and shoot and score. Quote

Part of me wants to say yes, but then I think about our guards and I’m really glad Bane is a part of that unit. I guess since it’s a hypothetical it’d all depend on what guard we’d swing WCJ for. With Simons’ $27.7 million expiring contract, Boston has the salary to acquire an impact big man. I'll take Simons and Queta for Goga, JI and Jett. Quote
