Manew, Ginobili, my dear "True Blue Nation" fan and "opinionator" (I looked it up,,,hahaha). The spelling of a name is not one of the options of the pole. I've seen misspelled names and words from time to time by participants on this message board, but it doesn't bother me. I know what the person meant. I have known people who always criticized another person's clothes. People refer to them as the "fashion patrol". I guess you might be called the "grammar police"? its because its so easy, just 5 letters, the guy was a #1 draft pick, how can so many people say it wrong so many times? also when people write "columbia" instead of "colombia" when referring to the country. i can tolerate most grammar mistakes, but some of them are so absurd. if it was tyus jones or isaac i wouldnt even care, but this guy is supposed to be the cornerstone of the franchise and fans cant even say his name correctly. it reminds me when people used to say "quinteros" instead of "quintero" for River Plate. I mean, the guy scored the most important goal of the club, how the ***** do you add an inexistent S to his name? Quote

J/k lol Back to the topic of basketball…. Quote
hootie249 Posted January 5 Report Posted January 5 I would say ugly basketball and injuries. For me so many of the games i tune into are just bad,bad games with ugly offense. The second is injuries are killing the enjoyment for the NBA in general and my own team. As a Magic fan i am tired of watching games without our players or the premier players on the other team. It's why i tune in. Quote
Manu Ginobili Posted January 5 Report Posted January 5 good thing about it is that none of the injuries are long term, so in an ideal scenario, the squad could be full as we should advance to ecf at the very least and also black performance has been off the charts so we have a BIG 4 at the time on the other hand, da silva development has not been as good as it was once promising to be, coaching sucks and tyus is exactly the opposite of what posters here were pretending he was Quote
fan for too long 2 Posted January 5 Report Posted January 5 Coaching is number 1. Paolo is 1a. But Paolo is doing what the coaches want right? If not then it’s the coaches that shoul be correcting him and developing him. So far neither has happened so it is coaching. But Paolo needs to take a long look in the mirror also. Also Management should be one of the options. They are the ones to blame for hiring these coaches. Quote
Jay Magic Posted January 5 Report Posted January 5 Getting fully healthy is the ONLY problem we have!! Quote

We are only 3.5 games off the second seed with more than half the season left to play. Can we please have some positivity on this message board? Go Magic!! Quote
Luke_FfS Posted January 6 Report Posted January 6 There's a big difference between fully healthy and able to win more game, and magically solving all the evident issues we have to be a REAL contender. It's not negativity, and not even lack of positivity. Quote
MagicMan1979 Posted January 6 Report Posted January 6 https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-zach-lowe-show/id1805478723?i=1000743884644 Awesome summary of our Magic by the great Zach Lowe. Starts at 1:03:33 He has us at five currently based on our health but says we can still make The Finals if we are healthy. They break down Anthony Blacks emergence and if he can become an actual star player. Great listen not to high and not to LOWE lol Quote

There are other issues like coaching etc. But without our top players those issues are magnified. Quote

As I had, unfortunately, to repeat a few times, in the first 5 games we were mostly healthy, and our record was 1-4. Clearly healthy matters, but believeing that is the lone problem, and when we'll be all healthy (if that ever happens btw, considering our history...) we'll be automatically contenders, that's blindness IMHO, or call it too much positivity if you prefer. There's a lot, lot more that need to click to win a title. Most great team never accomplished it. Quote
