Soul Bro Posted January 3 Report Posted January 3 I would love to hear the board's thoughts on this matter. For me, at first I thought it was Paolo. He's underwhelmed, been ball dominant, and played inconsistent defense. However, the more I watch this team, I don't know if Mose would know what to do with a guy like Giannis if we were to flip Paolo for him. Thus, I think our biggest issue is coaching. Thoughts? Quote
MagicMan1979 Posted January 3 Report Posted January 3 I would say coaching would be my number one. Mosely’s play calling at the end of games and his all bench rotations drive me crazy. Health would be number two for me. I don’t care who the coach would be. If our top 4 aren’t 100% at the start of The Playoffs we wont go far. Paolo regaining his form from the second half of last season would be three. He has shown some good signs on offense the last three games. He has to get better defensively though. Quote
Manu Ginobili Posted January 3 Report Posted January 3 Biggest challenge is getting people to stop saying "paulo". is "paolo", is not that hard.... second biggest is coaching, by far. malone should be here tomorrow third is health Quote
Magicman28 Posted January 3 Report Posted January 3 Coaching seems to be the issue but is that because Weltman doubled down on combo guards (Bane, Suggs was best at SG) when he really needed to get a PG? Quote
JJZFL Posted January 3 Report Posted January 3 Stuff has just not looked good this season and I think it's affecting the team. Quote

Manew, Ginobili, my dear "True Blue Nation" fan and "opinionator" (I looked it up,,,hahaha). The spelling of a name is not one of the options of the pole. I've seen misspelled names and words from time to time by participants on this message board, but it doesn't bother me. I know what the person meant. I have known people who always criticized another person's clothes. People refer to them as the "fashion patrol". I guess you might be called the "grammar police"? Quote

All Eyes On Me Posted January 4 Report Posted January 4 I voted other, and to me the biggest issue is the bench. It can get tied in with health and coaching for sure. Franz and Suggs healthy means we have AB’s talent coming off the bench, coaching doesn’t allow Tyus Jones and Jonathan Isaac play over better players just because they’re veterans (which Mike Malone would also do, btw). But, Tyus, TDS, JI and half of the time Goga have been dreadful this year. The bench is responsible for so many of our losses. Quote
CTMagicUK Posted January 4 Report Posted January 4 There's an argument for health because we haven't had our best lineup on the court regularly enough but I believe we've had enough to win some of these games and have been let down by one thing or another and it ultimately falls on coaches to win with what they've got.
