Fan you have jumped off your 62 win prediction pretty quickly.  Would you really have kept the team the same and just drafted Clayton over the Bane trade?  What would have been your move or fix for this team?

Walter Clayton is not in anyway better than Desmond Bane. Can't believe that needed to be said.

Hey everyone, long time reader first time poster. I'm a magic fan from overseas. Based in the UK specifically.... I wanted to get involved on this board as I was so excited for this season. Saw my first Magic game at the TD Waterhouse center in 2004, then managed to see them against the Nets in NYC in 2015, and at the global games in London against the Raptors in 2016. I was skeptical that trading for Bane and signing Tyus would give the Magic the leap into the top 3 some pundits were suggesting, we signed 2 non all stars not prime Steph and Klay. But still, the offence has been awful so far. Is Shamgod an offensive coordinator? Sure looks like Mose needs some help in this area.

Welcome aboard.

If I remember correctly, Shamgod is more a ball handling (skill) coach than a classic offensive assistant.

The stuff that stood out most is Paolo looking lost on like 4 separate ball screens in a 3 minute clip. And JI looking like he was running through mud on that 1 play. 

Paolo has to be either considerably more efficient offensively or much better defensively. 

JI... What the hell happened to this man? Dude played like 900 mins of All NBA defense with decent shooting 2 seasons ago, got his extension and has looked awful on both ends ever since. Weltman got finessed.

I’m actually confused what has happened to this teams effort and defense. Like Franz. He was/ is an elite defender, but Giddey cooked him multiple times. JI like you said looked like an All NBA defensive player and can’t get a stop on anybody right now. 

WTF happened to Goga? He looked like he’s a great player off the bench, being a defensive anchor. He doesn’t give effort anymore. 

Same with AB. His defense has been subpar.
