I was reading the Bleacher report article linked by someone in the pre-season thread. I didn't realize the Grizzlies traded one of our unprotected picks(2028) and the 16th pick in that draft to get Cedric Coward. I'm gonna have to watch that guy at the start of the season. So two of the four picks we gave them to get this player. Anyway it looks like we still got the steal of that draft in Jase.

Edit. Got to give Memphis credit for drafting good players at just about any spot. Checking some of the box scores this preseason i see that Jaylen Wells continues to be the big surprise pick he was last year. Along with Aldama and GG Jackson.

Tyler Smith expected to be waived by the Bucks. They are literally insane. Signing the greak freaks just to satisfy Giannis and letting go of real talent..

Can we rescind Castleton and pick up Tyler Smith. He also fits oour fast pace offense

The Brooklyn Nets will waive guard Kobe Bufkin, sources told @hoopshype. Bufkin, the 15th pick of the 2023 NBA Draft, was acquired in a trade from the Atlanta Hawks in exchange for cash considerations ($110,000). The 22-year-old guard is healthy after two injury-plagued seasons.

The Washington Wizards will waive Dillon Jones, league sources told @hoopshype. First reported by The Athletic. Jones was the 26th pick of the 2024 NBA Draft and appeared in 54 games for the Thunder last season. The 23-year-old is expected to draw strong two-way market interest.

The Phoenix Suns have waived guard Jared Butler. He recently had 35 points, nine assists, seven rebounds, and one steal in a preseason win over the Lakers.

Denver Nuggets guard Christian Braun has agreed to a five-year, $125 million rookie contract extension with the franchise, agent Bill Duffy of WME Basketball tells ESPN.

That's a good deal for Denver. I thought he'd try to get Suggs' deal.
