It's still super early so this is a tired thought but...Nets used 5 first round picks, obviously going to be bad next year... 

Cam Thomas sign and trade? I dunno if Thomas can play on a winning basketball team, what his market is or how much he'll cost but like... That level of shot maker off the bench would be fun.

Almost all (important) trades were before the draft in the end, not a lot of activity yesterday, so I'm almost glad I forgot it. 
Also, it was easier to stay awake until 2 in the night when the Magic were picking early, 25 is a little bit harder! :D

I had the same thought when they actually took 5 players in the draft CT.  Most of them are guards as well.

 This board was a little too high on Cam acting like he was an All Star or something early last year.  He was most likely the old Kenny Smith a looter in a riot!  

He would be perfect 6th man of the year heat check guy for us though.  Definitely a good thought exercise.

Those who think AB is our future point guard. Well he is a guard and his title is point guard, beyond that I need more proof. A guy who dribbles up the court and hands it off immediately to Paolo or franz and then hides in the corner, is not a future anything, let alone a point guard.

I couldn't agree more. The 'laughter gif' was the way I reacted to your ". . .a loooong wait" response. In my opinion AB should be the 3rd pg coming off the bench if needed or in garbage time. In watching the playoffs, I've been spoiled by "how a top notch point guard should play"--one who knows how to effectively play the point guard position on a consistent basis. AB had a couple of flashes last season, but he was never consistent.

I wanted to add. I have no issues with trading away that pick swap. The Suns found a way to get their perfect guys. That suddenly looks like a bad package for Houston. I don’t know if KD can impact winning that much anymore. 

J. Green, Brooks and Maluach is suddenly a pretty good package. 

Also picked up Williams and got aggressive for Fleming.
