I would think they would reroute Jrue somewhere else? If my memory is correct that’s how he went from Milwaukee to Portland to Boston last time. lol Quote
Shine88 Posted June 24, 2025 Report Posted June 24, 2025 The Phoenix Suns and San Antonio Spurs are two teams with potential interest in trading for Kristaps Porzingis. The Boston Celtics are shopping Porzingis as they attempt to balance their salaries. Porzingis is on a $30.7 million expiring contract for the 2025-26 season. Quote
jmmagicfan Posted June 24, 2025 Report Posted June 24, 2025 I know that this will not be a popular opinion, but I am not now, nor have I ever been a fan of Porzingis. I like his game, and think he is an extremely talented player; but I just can’t get over how much time he has spent on the bench or injured every season. Since entering the league in 2015, he has played over 70 games exactly once; his rookie season. He has played 65 games twice, and 57 games twice and 51 games once. Unfortunately, he is a classic case of lacking one really important ability - availability. Quote
All Eyes On Me Posted June 24, 2025 Report Posted June 24, 2025 Pelicans sending McCollum, Olynyk and a future 2nd to the Wizards for Poole, Bey and pick 40 tomorrow night. Weird trade Quote

Weird trade This trade has Troy Weaver written all over it. Bey was his first drafted player in Detroit and he was in Washington with Poole this past season. Quote

Weird trade Great for the wizards. Why you’d take a head case like Poole and match him with a head case like Zion just seems like a receipt for disaster. Quote

jmmagicfan Posted June 24, 2025 Report Posted June 24, 2025 So looking at Free Agent Point Guards and there are a few interesting options: Veterans that might be interested in the $10-14M range Malcolm Brogdan, Dennis Schroder, Chris Paul, Tre Jones Veterans who were around the minimum last year we might get in the $3-5M Cameron Payne, Tyus Jones, Monte Morris Not sure of the range, but Kevin Porter, Jr has a Player Option of only $2.5M, so he might become unrestricted. There are some Club Option that might become available, that we have to wait and see; and some Restricted that might be interesting in Davion Mitchell or Tre Mann; but I’m leery of having us tie our money up waiting on another team to match. orlandoholic Posted June 24, 2025 Report Posted June 24, 2025 Malcolm Brogdon should be our next CoJo for the veterans minimum. otherwise i’d rather like to be aggressive and go after Sexton. Quote

Luke_FfS Posted June 24, 2025 Report Posted June 24, 2025 I don't know what the Pelicans are thinking here again, but I like a lot this move for the W's, they will have all their young talent with 3/4 veterans to mentor them that are all expirings, and around 100m of cap space next offseason. A lot of space and options to make other moves there. Quote
