Fire Weltman, re-hire him, and fire him again. He showed us at the deadline he doesn’t deserve this job. He fleeced Chicago in one rebuilding trade and has been living off of that, but between his inactivity and him botching having 2 proven studs already with a chance to surround them with 2 lotto picks and blowing both of those picks, I’ve seen enough. I view Mose and Weltman similarly, neither are guys that are going to get you to a title.

Even that Chicago trade wasn't that great actually, seemed really good until WCJ looked like a great starting center, but now... it all comes down to having found Franz with that Chicago pick, but what if it was another season and we picked... Bamba?

I think people don't realize just how long they have been in charge. If the Bulls didn't gift them that trade they would be nothing. They were good enough to make our team so bad we got the number one pick. That's it. Draft long boys. The Magic are not a respected franchise right now.

Another thing on Weltman. Being “patient” and “evaluating the team” while you have 2 proven studs on rookie deals and the incredible amount of cap flexibility that comes with that is unforgivable. That window is now closed and he’s fully fumbled the ball. He needs to be gone. I don’t want him to have a chance to whiff on anymore picks or bring in any more high priced vets that fail. At this point, the FA window is closed for us. Any improvement has to come via draft or trade, and I’d trust me to make moves over him

It’s time to clean house. Coach Mo is in over his head. He’s gotta go!  Bring me Penny Hardaway. He’s ready for prime time and will give us our best chance at keeping Paolo around. At this rate, there’s no way Paolo sticks around.

You might be into something with Penny......

A top of the line coach (who? TBD) would be good for Paolo and Franz to realize once and for all that they are accountable.

Im sorry but if you want to suggest Penny Hardaway as our coach I'm going to need a lot of convincing that you're suggesting it for basketball reasons and not just because of nostalgia/familiarity.

Mosley just needs an offensive mind next to him

Mosely has more flaws than his choice of assistant coach. His rotations are like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re gonna get. How can any bench player feel comfortable about his minutes or even when he gets in the game? No consistency. His system sux! And no assistant coach is going to change that.

How much convincing do you need to see that our current coach is in over his head?

if you don’t think Penny has the chops to coach in this league after being a successful D-1 coach at Memphis over the last 8 years, then I don’t know what to tell you. Especially if you consider the man’s basketball IQ and his experience as an NBA player that has played at the highest level of being a league superstar.

I personally don’t think Penny would take the job even if it was offered to him  But if he ever did. I think Penny would be able to cook with all of the talent that’s currently on this squad and I believe he could have a nice run.

as long as banchero and wagner stay in the team for the next decade, we will have a shot at improving.

they should stay, as no one in this uniform has tasted real glory in all of its existence. so instead of doing the typical and bolt and going to the lakers, they could stay and be like a jokic or dirk, winning the first franchise title in history while playing only for that team their whole career.
