Im cool with standing with our roster, unless we got KD.

 

Our roster is not the problem. The coaching staff isnt as great as they are perceived to be. 

 

Why are the young players getting hurt a lot? The knicks with older players who average more minutes havent had nearly as many injuries.

 

Shooting coaches really need to improve. Threes and free throws are especially terrible. Can only improve our shooting.

 

The lineups that we put out are not great. Need to bench players who are struggling. The game against the Heat, it clearly wasnt Bancheros night. We should have benched him at the end of the 4th quarter before OT. He single handedly lost us the game (he will be elite and our best player, just cant afford to take the L's).

Need Cole to play more minutes. I think Mosely doesnt like him which is stupid.

 

Team will get better this season. Paolo has been struggling after injury but finally played better last game. I think he will get better because he is that dude.

 

If we traded any players, they would have popped off on their new teams and made us look stupid.

 

If he cant improve, I think firing Mose may be better for us and looking for an alpha coach in the offseason. Maybe we could pry Dan Hurly. We wont but that would help us.

I don't disagree with what you're saying. It happens many times in the nba.

The warriors are my second favorite team, and when he was traded to the Warriors, I was okay with it because he played well with the Lakers. The Warriors were not a good fit for Shroeder(sp) and It's possible the Magic might not be a good fit for him either.

What I'm not okay with is Jimmy Butler, the class clown, having been traded to my Warriors. I hated it when Chris Paul played there last season.

Yeah I hear you TMF but we’ve had a small enough sample size to know that Shroeder and Wagner can coexist and succeed in doing so (Olympic Gold over the summer). Add in that he has chemistry with TDS as well and it’s honestly a no brainer to give it a try when we clearly are lacking a pg who can initiate the offense and keep defenses honest without giving away any major assets. What do I know though I’m not getting paid millions to make these kinds of decisions lol.

Not really too disappointed because none of my main targets (except for Fox) have been traded.. 

But it’s a shame we didn’t get Schroeder. He would have fixed a lot of playmaking issues and could have helped Franz and Paolo in that regard. He’s also a great team player and veteran. He could have been had for cheap. We have two 2nd round picks in 2025. Every fckn team knows we are not using them. We technically won’t and can’t. We also have 2 firsts. That’s 4 rookies. 

So why not invest a pick or two and help this team short term. 

I agree what was said. Weltman is a fckn dinosaur. He was good for a while to build this team with patience. But he doesn’t have the vision and guts to make us contenders

Well, 3 years ago we traded Bamba for Beverly, that was immediately waived. And 4 years ago we traded Bol Bol, P.J. Dozier with the Celtics. I sorely miss that kind of big moves...

Yeah, the last time we made a trade that we acquired a player and actually kept him was 2022. Weltman really is just riding the clock

2021 actually, and as previously wrote, at that point trading the mediocrity core of Vuc+Fournier+Aaron (even if I still miss the latter) was almost due. Actually, they were late on that too...
