Jase, the son of in a few ways, the great Jason Richardson !!!

Areas of needs in 2025 are 2 new starters.....one to replace KCP and the other on to replace Wendell.

A veteran PG (Unrestricted D'Angelo Russell (29) and a serviceable big (Naz Reid (25) / Player Option) are a couple of examples.......

The players drafted this summer will be very important cause they will probably be replacing Cole, Gary, Jet and Goga but none can be considered to get a starting role.

Currently we have four players who do not have guaranteed contracts for next season; Moe Wagner, Gary Harris, Cory Joseph, and Caleb Houstan. While I would like to see us move on from Cole and/or Jett, I think it would have to be via trade. I don’t see us cutting either loose and taking the cap hit, when we don’t have the space to play with. I also think JI needs to get his weight back down, the extra bulk is a failed experiment. I am not sure if Jase Richardson (or Kam Jones) would be an upgrade from Cole, or if they are just younger, less experienced versions, but I think either would be an upgrade from Jett.

Amen.  This idea that we should stop trying to win (actually try to lose) to get a slightly better draft pick is incredibly bad.  We were in the lottery for many years and they were years I would never want to repeat.  And we are still stuck with that legacy even now.  We have all these lottery players including obviously two very good ones but we don’t have a winning culture, and it shows.

The funny thing is i think the writers realize the meme. Most mocks i see have us taking a guy who can't shoot!

Yeah, I'm all on the Pettiford train if he declares for the draft. Give me him and Danny Wolf in the 1st, and Walter Clayton Jr. in the 2nd. Replacement for Cole, Joseph and Goga.

I'd definitely take a flyer on Proctor from Duke in the late first or second round. He can shoot, has size, and plays the game the right way. He could be what we were hoping to get in Jett and also replace Harris.
