2024/2025 General Game Thread

Our depth at SG is crazy deep, that is why cole is the odd man out. So bad we can’t play 5 wings at time, lol
so sad same thing can be said on our bigs depth specially now that Paolo and Wendell are out. Judah still can’t play heavy minutes. 
the need for traditional PG is so glaring specially when Paolo went iut, only AB looks capable at times.

Jokes aside, good to see the reaction from the guys, even if honestly opposition was quite weak, or with a lot of injuries and we were at home. Last win against Indiana the most convincing one. Most important thing has been to set the record straight and have the team focused again after a difficult stretch.

Interesting how DaSilva has already taken the minutes of players like Houstan and Howard, and even Harris. (I know, different roles, but he already seem ready, defense being the key I imagine). Looks like a Wagner-lite sometimes.

We need more consistency from Suggs on offense, game after game.

PG is the toughest position to learn in the NBA, and I am pleased with what I am seeing from both Suggs and Black so far. They both play good defense and their offense and game management seem to be improving.

Today's game is a good test for the team. Hopefully Embiid is still limping like in the game with New York. Goga is at his best, we'll see how that matchup goes.
I expect to see the ball in the hands of Franz and Black when Franz is resting. Jalen has had his share of the ball reduced the last few games and I think it's the right thing to do because he can't keep the ball in control on offense.
Winning this game would be key as the next few games are against higher level teams and we need every W we can get.

The challenge is making sure that we can get Franz and Paolo both enough touches when they are both healthy without resorting to iso ball.
