Good thing we have a bit of a buffer built in. There's that risk, I know, but not all opponents are OKC... if our morale and cohesion stay up, we can still win a few games against lower level teams, and each one will be sorely needed. Quote

Yeah, I agree with you on that, we’re definitely still better than a lot of teams, but unfortunately with where we are on the schedule, we don’t play many bad teams over the next few weeks. Quote

Moral victories doesn't increase the W column, but tells a lot about where the group is heading. 18 turnovers by the Magic and only lost by 6......clearly without Paolo and Franz we are an inferior offensive team than basically anyone in the league right now. Field Goal % 23rd 45.1 FG% 3-point % 30th 30.9 3P% Points Scored 27th 107 PPG Total Rebounds 26th 42.1 RPG It can't get worst but probably will until Paolo and Franz come back. And maybe AB finds the consistency to get extended minutes in the backcourt. His scoring in the last five: 0, 8, 17, 4, 23 Quote
Jay Magic Posted December 21, 2024 Report Posted December 21, 2024 Moving forward I just don't want anymore injuries .. if we lose we lose.. simple as that By that I mean as we stand with P and Franz out... Quote

Crazyhorse81 Posted December 21, 2024 Report Posted December 21, 2024 Can KCP play the 3? If so, would it be terrible if we started Black at PG? Black/Cole Suggs/Jett KCP/who knows? Houstan? TDS/Isaac/WCJ Goga/Mo/WCJ Man we need to get healthy! 1 Quote
Phil4Real Posted December 21, 2024 Report Posted December 21, 2024 It's a tough time of the season and it's not surprising to get discouraged. But today's is a winnable game. Even though we continue to make some frustrating mistakes and still can't find offensive rhythm, there are also things to highlight regarding the individual performances of some players. Maybe in the future we remember this moment as the one that allowed some players in particular to gain confidence. Butler is out for the game and from what I understand, Jalen will play. Hopefully the KIA Center will play a role tonight. Let's lock on defense, not lose too many balls and then we have a good chance. EDIT: Miami comes from a back to back Quote
TrueMagicFan07 Posted December 22, 2024 Report Posted December 22, 2024 The Magic looks like they are trying to figure out what to do and has slowed ball movement. Quote
Soul Bro Posted December 22, 2024 Author Report Posted December 22, 2024 Howard looks awful. Two turnovers and immediately getting targeted on defense. 1 Quote
