2024/2025 General Game Thread

this is going to be a brutal stretch. Not gonna lie, it will be ugly. Our offensive game is designed for self creation. We are going to struggle a lot. 
To top it off, we will be playing good NBA teams. I will have to protect myself and not watch every game.

Aka coach doesn’t run any plays and we let Paolo and Franz bail us out most games. That’s the offensive game plan that needs fixing.

Won’t work against the better teams most of the time particularly at the end of close games.  Gotta keep all five players involved in the offense.

Yup exactly but when the 3 point shot isn’t falling we need other guys to attack the basket and get to the line not just Franz/Paolo and to a lesser extent Suggs.

My neighbor who is a Magic fan thinks that these injuries are part of a tank job to be able to have a shot at that kid at Duke in the draft next June. I asked him if he was serious and he replied, "yes I am". I asked him to elaborate, and he said that "these injuries seem a bit suspicious, especially two players with the exact same injury". He also said that "it's an injury that is easier to fake when out in public". He said he "wouldn't be surprised if Paolo is out until February and Franz sometime in late March. They will milk these supposed injuries for as long as possible to pile up the losses. Then that will give an excuse to shut them down for the season possibly". He is a bit of a conspiracy theorist. Lol. I don't think this is true of course. I think it's just one of those rare occurrences where two star players have the same exact injury. Personally, I think Paolo is back around Christmas, and Franz will return sometime around February 1st. I still see us winning around 50 games this season.

Jonathan Isaac out again tonight. Same for Gary Harris. We'll see if Mosley uses a 9 man rotation or gives minutes to Caleb Houstan.
