Sumike4ya Posted December 4, 2024 Report Posted December 4, 2024 Even 29 points is fine. But I care more about the embarrassment than the dang points Quote

We just need to make sure we don’t lose by 30 at this point That's what is bothering me. Luckily, Milwaukee is beating Detroit by a lot, which makes the team with the best difference after us Boston, with whom we have a 17-point difference at the moment. It means that even if we lose by 36 points we should be the Wildcard. Quote
hootie249 Posted December 4, 2024 Report Posted December 4, 2024 Deja vu from last cup. Either way i want us to win. Hope you can all see why the money should have went elsewhere instead of WCJ. Should have went to moe but now endless question marks going forward. WCJ is not reliable or tough. Best cast scenario is he remains almost healthy until he is part of a trade to get that last piece. Sucks he has the longest contract on the Magic currently besides Franz and Suggs. Quote

We need five guys matching their intensity If you think about it... we are through.. unless we really mess up... so let them be front runners and all intense... in 7 game series I like our chances at full strength 1 Quote

We’ve looked great in recent weeks beating up on bad teams. We need to show we can compete with the big boys. 2 1 Quote
hootie249 Posted December 4, 2024 Report Posted December 4, 2024 How would we do that? Might need to turn the ball over less against good teams. Maybe a point guard that could shoot the 3 and not play crazy and keep the turnovers down..hmm. Quote

Phil4Real Posted December 4, 2024 Report Posted December 4, 2024 I don't agree at all. It seems to me that as at today, NY has a better team than the Magic. They are contenders, we are not. Contrary to the “optimistic” analysis, it seems to me that we are not at that level yet. There is a subtle difference between optimistic and blind. However, I expected us to approach today's game with a different attitude, because it was a sort of final. So far, the Knicks came out prepared to play a final today, we did not. 3 1 Quote

Phil4Real Posted December 4, 2024 Report Posted December 4, 2024 It looks like at this point we will only qualify if f**ing Thibodeau decides to play Jericho Sims and Cam Payne, to prevent the Celtics from qualifying. Sad night man Quote
Sumike4ya Posted December 4, 2024 Report Posted December 4, 2024 We haven’t lost by more than 20 all year. And that includes the 5 games we played right after Paolo went down. Something is wrong tonight. Either afraid of the national attention, or just normal nerves, or bad coaching… all of the above? Quote
