I am saying at the current state, and that is w/o suggs. w/ suggs, everything can change and i am hoping also for a better result.

we don't have to wear our rose-colored glasses all the time, everyone wants the best for the team but we have to call a spade a spade.

Jusuf Nurkic on Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner:

"I think they are a really good young team and they are doing a really good job. They have a really good coaching staff but I think they are missing one player...I can't name it but that's my little fella from Portland."

Nice win. I love seeing AB’s growth lately. Also the KCP signing, on paper, seemed like a solid signing. Throughout his career, he’s been a fantastic shooter and defender. Where’d his shot go?

fun fact, going to the break, we have played a league high 56 games. lakers are playing their 52nd game.

to think that we are the one with a lot of injuries, we could have benefited if 4 of our games would have been after the break and we are helthy.

majority of the team has time off! I expect them to work on this break! We desperately need that.
We can’t be „lazy“ here. We have too much to catch up.

Hopefully Mosley does a lot of film and gets on some coaching clinics. We desperately need an offensive mind. We can barely score 100 points on a severely depleted Hornets team with basically no center.

We don’t have a clue how to operate out of simple pick and roll situations. Only answer we have is Franz and Paolo being amazing and head down. We don’t throw lobs, we don’t roll, we don’t have a pick and pop game,.

Only thing we do is screen/slip screen and get out of the way of Paolo and Franz. It’s tiring for them and also for me as a fan.

This might help us though now post All Star break. We'll be healed up, games should be spaced out a little more than some other teams, less chance to blow games you should win because of scheduling. I'm expecting us to respond and make a run post All Star break.

Jett is doing a lot of good things. Needs to be in the normal rotation over Street Clothes and Caldwell-Nope

The thing I like about Jett is he just makes quick decisions, they're not always the right decision, but there's a lot of catch and hold or catch and dribble dribble dribble in our offense and he just... Does stuff. Even if the stuff he does has mixed results at best, that pace and tempo feels good watching it.

Agree.  We need more quickness in our offense, and Jett is usually quick.  Not always great, as you say, but speeds things up.

Aggresive black is our new barometer.

Was thinking the same, has been our x-factor recently with Suggs out.

Let's close that bad section of the season, and start a new one after ASB.

It’s not only his speed, but give the guy a break. He is in his second year and has very little time on the court to relax and have the game slow down in his mind. Look at AB, he has much much more time on the court, he still struggles.

I wish Jett had been given the opportunities AB has had.

While i agree Jett needs more minutes he shouldn't have been the picked where we grabbed him anyhow. So if he works out great, but years from now if he doesn't this sunk cost fallacy will be why we don't win a chip.

Meanwhile Christian Braun in Denver is killing it as a starter and shooter. He was KCP's replacement, who himself replaced Gary Harris.

Braun looked like he had potential right from the start. Sure he struggled his second year but even in year one he was doing things you drafted him to do.
