i also think we underestimate how the injury of Moe effected us. He was instant offense and somebody anybody on the court could play with. Pick and Roll,  just Post moves, or spreading the floor.

Not replacing the production of Moe is also a major failure. Yabusele was up for grabs as well.

Schroeder and Yabusele would have been two major upgrades to what we need and they could have been had for cheap.

You can even argue we fumbled on the Knecht trade. People on here were calling this and a Knecht/Bitadze trade could have absolutely happened. This one is more controversial because we would have needed a backup center. But the Knecht scoring/shooting would have absolutely been worth it

I disagree because I think those of us diehards, yourself included, noticed the impact pretty much the second Moe went down. It’s not just from a scoring perspective either. Without Moe and Jalen out there, this team has no substance. Way too nice and nobody trying to make anybody’s day difficult. We need Jalen Suggs back desperately. He’s our glue guy, it’s never been more clear.

I’m giving Paolo a pass until after the all star break. That said, we can’t effing lose at home to Charlotte tomorrow

Agreed.

I'm going to take the All Star break to stay away from all things Magic related stuff and judge us again with a clean slate on the other side.

But yea a loss to the Hornets would really leave a long bitter taste for basically a whole week.

Yeah i just brought him up because i feel like he’s kinda been forgotten. Often we refer to Suggs who is missing. Just wanted to point that out.

You are absolutely right!

You guys are late on Mike Miller feeling about the front office. Around the 25 min mark you can hear he was a little frustrated with Weltman's approach to improving the roster.

That is 6 months old

There should be zero excuses tonight. This should be a blowout win for us. Charlotte is a horrible team that is missing all of their top scorers for the game tonight. If the Magic lose this game, they may as well stay on vacation and don't come back for the second half. No excuses tonight. None. In fact, nothing short of a blowout win will be acceptable. I fully expect it to be anywhere between a 15-to-20-point margin of victory at the very minimum. Anything less than that won't come close to getting it done on multiple levels.

We don't really know his feelings

I'm mean it's not hard to read between the lines. Before Haslem asked Shams the question about the Magic, he said he already knew Miller thought on the Magic offseason moves, and then Miller turns around and asked Shams did they do enough and when is it time to go for it? Plus, you add in the fact what Paolo said last season about adding a table setter, it's clear to see they had a different vision than Weltman.

I just think we been obliterated by injuries and some all time shooting slump lol

Exactly, which is why I said they were late on Mike Miller's feelings toward the FO.

Well, wasn’t aware of this from 6 months ago and if he was frustrated back then, he’s even more frustrated now. We’ll see how it goes. Winning heals everything, so win tonight, rest up and finally get healthy, and come back after the break for the last 26 games strong. I think we could legit go 16-10 or better rest of the way, and if we do we could hopefully avoid the play-in
