how is it possible for Paolo to get -19 pts differential? numbers sometimes are hard to decipher.

Well, we are now in that number 9 spot. Only 2 games up in the loss column to the Bulls who are number 10. Then only 3 up in the loss column on Philly to be number 11 and out of the playoff picture. Not very good folks. Forgot to mention a couple of times tonight Paolo was posing after knocking down a couple of triples. Meanwhile the Hawks rushed down the court for two easy buckets. Mosely called an angry timeout to address it.

I almost always completely agree with you but I see this one differently.  Our “big two” took 51 out of our 78 shots, or just about two thirds.  The rest of the team can’t get into any kind of rhythm when they rarely touch the ball. Contrast that with the hawks, who spread it out very well and had multiple guys hitting threes all game.

The different with the Hawks is they have multiple guys who can create for themselves as well as create for other. It's a bad comparison. Outside of Paolo and Franz, guys can barely handle the ball or even get a shot off on their own. There like a deer in headlights the moment they get ran off the 3 point line. It's an imbalance roster that's geared more toward the defensive side. Just bad roster construction.

I'm tired man.

Whether or not Jeff Weltman does call other teams... He certainly should have. 

I don't know what the hell is going on with Paolo Banchero but, despite the good stats, he still doesn't look good. Couldn't beat Georges Niang off the dribble, abysmal on defense again. 

This Hawks team have known each other for like 5 days and they play more fluid basketball than us. 

Play in here we come.

Certainly not good. Loosing to a team that is sneak tanking. Atlanta didn’t even play aggressive. 

We have a main issue that won’t be resolved any time soon. 

We only win when we both play elite defense also have a great offensive game(offensive game means All Star performance from Franz and Paolo in our case)

If one of those don’t happen, we loose. 

I think my take has been pretty clear and consistent. Elite defense is cool and all, but in todays NBA it’s just not sustainable. 

But that’s all our coach will ever address. That’s what we are telling our players. The optimum should be that good defense should be enough to win. That only happens if we are good offensively. Than, at times we should be able to turn up another gear and be elite on defense. 

 

The Atlanta game:

We had something new going on and it was a great surprise. With Cole playing with the starters, he showed a two man game, mostly with Paolo. Was nice to see some actual pick and roll playmaking from the Magic. 

Somehow coach decided to bench Cole and play AB down the stretch, why? defense? Defense when you need points and offense? 

When Cole played like that i imagined how that would be to have a playmaking Wizard like Trae running the point. Bruh, pick your poison and good luck on those pick and rolls.

He was awful defensively is how.

Most of their threes were open shots off good ball movement.  No reason we can’t do the same.

Obviously don’t know the full context, they could be talking about traffic patterns on the I-4, but whatever Weltman had to say, Mike wasn’t buying. Also for those who don’t know, this is interesting to me because Mike Miller’s agency represents Paolo, Jalen and Wendell.
