CTMagicUK Posted February 9 Report Posted February 9 It's one game but Fox going 3-11 with 5 TOs and generally being pretty bad on defense in Orlando almost immediately after portions of the Magic fanbase were up in arms we didn't trade for him is kind of funny. Quote

I'd take a look until the end of the season honestly but I'm not going to be mad if we don't do it. i understand. But i don’t actually know why two contenders give up on him. I personally believe it’s because his game was immature. I would compare that to Euroleague Ball. Young players rarely get minutes, because they make mistakes and every mistake can cost you a game. That’s why, not even Wembanyama played for a good veteran Euroleague team. Only young player i can seriously remember, who played a significant role was Doncic. Id also say Kuminga and Moody experience the same treatment. It wouldn’t hurt taking a shot at Bones. You can only win. Waive Houstan, he‘s rarely used anyway, or Joseph. If Bones figures it out, he’d be a major steal and a potential 6th man off the bench going forward. Quote

Our offense seems to be especially at the end of the game give the ball to Franz or Paolo and let the play hero ball. They can pull it off sometimes because they are both talented but it’s not sustainable. That game winner by Paolo reminded me of the two back to back game winners he hit against Chicago last year. I hope he is back to himself after the AllStar Break. Unfortunately I'm out of likes, so +1 here. I think the word "sustainable" is exactly right. It's just not a high percentage way to play. I'd much rather have a quick PG setting things up rather than Paulo dribbling around at the top of the key. I actually think Paulo would probably prefer that also, based on what he said last summer. I realize we don't have the ideal guard on the roster right now. But we could still use what we have better to keep moving the ball at the end of games. Quote

That's a bit harsh giving he's been just traded and it's in Wemby team now, but anyway, even if I'm one of the biggest fans of trading for a PG as soon as possible, the Fox window for me was closed in the exact moment he and his agent told everyone he has a preferred destination. Makes sense for the Spurs to give up those assets for a player that wants to play with them, and the mentoring of CP3 could be great for him. Doesn't make sense at all for us, given the high risk of paying that price for a one and half season rental. Quote
All Eyes On Me Posted February 9 Report Posted February 9 All I know is regardless of what Fox shot last night, I’m thrilled Wemby took that last shot and not him. Quote
Soul Bro Posted February 9 Author Report Posted February 9 My goodness is Vassell a player I’d like in blue and black. Dude fits our ethos like a glove. 1 Quote
Soul Bro Posted February 9 Author Report Posted February 9 Also I believe this has been said, but how’s it possible that our “shooting” guards combined for a total of 3 points over 47 minutes of play? That crazy. Quote

Guards usually don’t have a big game against us. We’re one of the best defensive team when we are clicking. Quote
