hootie249 Posted February 7, 2025 Report Posted February 7, 2025 Hey guys! i was at the Game at Ball Arena tonight. AMA! Actually don't. it was as bad as you can imagine! The only thing i want to say is Paolo is playing as bad as you guys are seeing on TV. I just saw it in person tonight. Also AG is Good but it's all about the gravity that Jokic creates and the shooting when Denver gets hot. He is the definitive role player. Your going to see the box score and see that MPJ was the hero this game, and he was! He is a sniper in a huge body. He actually looks bigger then Paolo in person. He is a huge offensive mismatch. One thing i noticed about his game tonight. All his shots his feet were planted firmly. Our 3's some were open some weren't. But every time the Magic took a 3 i sensed a hesitation and non planted feet! That's all i got. Enjoyed the fist half then left in the third. goodnight! 1 Quote
orlandoholic Posted February 7, 2025 Report Posted February 7, 2025 alright, i’m going to need a couple of games off from the Magic. I wish Orlando fans would do the same and the fo would see empty arenas again. That’s the only way this fo will ever learn. That said, i feel like listening to Amy Winehouse- back to black, all day today. eghhh Quote
MagicOne Posted February 7, 2025 Report Posted February 7, 2025 We are 3-20 in games where we don't score at least 100 points. That is worst in the NBA, as is the 23 games total of not reaching 100 points. We are sinking faster than a bunch of bricks that were thrown into the Atlantic Ocean. Speaking of bricks, what were we, 5 for 31 tonight from deep? But hey what are you gonna do right? I mean it's a make or miss league. With us, it could be like that sign that says, "objects in mirror could be closer than they appear". Maybe the basket looks further away than it actually is when we are shooting? It could be the eyes are playing tricks on us. Right now, I think that it is 90 percent mental, and the other half is physical. Quote

All Eyes On Me Posted February 7, 2025 Report Posted February 7, 2025 Last night was brutal, but that was garbage by the NBA. 3rd game in 4 nights, all on the road, and 2nd night of a back to back where you have to fly from Sacramento to Denver. Definition of a schedule loss Quote

Definition of a schedule loss Completely agree. This game would likely have been a loss under any circumstances. I paid no attention to it at all. Having said that, leaving this game aside, past month is definitely worrisome. I was one strongly advocating here over the summer for us to get a PG. We didn’t, opting to rerun the previously unsuccessful Suggs as PG experiment. It’s still not working. Part of the problem here is that Paulo and Franz are having to create almost everything for themselves. Quote
Luke_FfS Posted February 7, 2025 Report Posted February 7, 2025 And Denver was without Murray. All I have to say is: I still miss Aaron somehow! Quote
All Eyes On Me Posted February 7, 2025 Report Posted February 7, 2025 Suggs doubtful again for tomorrow. They need to provide some visibility into what’s actually wrong, cause it definitely seems like more than a bruise Quote

No Murray or Russ, but when MPJ and Jokic are hitting shots like that, it literally doesn’t matter who the other 3 guys are on the court with them. I love what Gordon has become, but rest assured that this version of AG would have never existed in Orlando. 1 Quote
Jamesdin Posted February 8, 2025 Report Posted February 8, 2025 Can we pick up Theiss? He was waived when he was traded. He had good connection with franz Quote
