In the past 4 games during this losing streak,  Paolo has shot 10 total free throws. His aggression is gone and he’s settling for bad midrange jumpers nonstop. He’s either hurting, his free throw struggles are causing the yips, or his lack of getting consistent calls is affecting his willingness to drive. Either way, Paolo is a lot less special if he doesn’t pound the rock. Need to figure it out.

Also, this is probably the hottest of hot takes and I’m gonna get yelled at by someone, but I’d rather deal AB than Cole at the deadline.

Where is TMF at? Lol. The thing is, at this point who would be willing to take him?

Bad game and once again bad whistle. Officiating crew got their orders.

34:10 FTs. Are you kidding me? That tackle by Green and Paolo not getting FT is about as insane as it gets. Mosley is too nice about it. This team has no spirit right now, just takes bullying after bullying. Mosley needs to protect them. He had to loose his mind and act a fool right there. You can’t let refs do that to you game after game.

Refs were bad but otherwise I don't have much to say about that game that I haven't already said about the last 5 games. This team is not good right now. Something has to change if we even want to finish above .500.

Well, at least was better than the last couple... sometimes I see head downs and feels like something is broken in the previously rock solid chemestry, but maybe it's only the bad moment.

AB isn't showing a lot as a starter unfortunately. And all the bench has a great +/-, while the starters are obviously negative, something that has happened a few times recently.

AB might not be an NBA player. We had 2 lotto picks a couple years ago to surround Paolo and Franz with guys that complement their talent, as of now it looks like we whiffed on both picks. If Weltman doesn’t fix it at the deadline, I’m ok with him being fired.

I keep telling you he was never good. Look at his picks besides Paolo and Wagner, and i think Wagner was a Michigan thing. Also his loyalty about certain players is crazy.

One of the best things a good GM can do is admit mistakes and fix them. As i have pointed out before the Celtics have made at least 20 major moves since 2017. This is with being gifted two very special players thanks to an all time great trade with the Nets. They never stop changing. From taking the big swing with Kyrie then letting him walk, moving on from Smart, getting Horford twice! Trading for gems like White while missing with other role players like Fournier, then just getting rid of him. Having two great back up bigs like Williams and Grant but still moving on from them because they can't stay healthy. Then making more huge swings with Holiday and Porzingus. And honestly it looks like the zinger can't stay healthy so i bet they find a way to get rid of him too.

What do we do? Sign freaking Isaacs to a third contract. Please reread this sentence. The Orlando Magic in the year of our lord 2024 signed Jonathan Isaacs to a 3rd contract even though he has missed more games then he has played. Has anyone seen that graphic on sports center about Embiid playing like 5 more games then he has missed? They are making a big deal about Embiid but when he plays he has MVP level skills!

We talk ourselves into liking these questionable moves. Oh his contract is not guaranteed! It drops by AVV over 10 million next 3 years! What a great move! Our GM is wise!

Meanwhile we lose our two best players for a huge amount of games and he honestly does jack ****. If they don't trade Isaacs in the next 48 hours then you know our Gm is kind of worthless. His contract is super tradeable and for a good amount of tradeable salary(25 million). He plays the same position of our two best players(forward, who cares Small or power). He is not a small ball center nor has he improved his offense in over 5 years and his contract is the largest  we have to trade.

It's time, he is the one contract i say has the least downside to trading.

Ya know, I’m gonna backtrack on AB isn’t an nba player. There is obviously something there, it’s just a horrible basketball fit with our team construction and to play alongside P and Franz. Probably would be good for both sides to move him.

Maybe he’s afraid of getting re-injured. Who know? He’s definitely doesn’t look right.

Not even a month ago someone wrote that was refusing to insert him in a trade offer because he's a stellar prospect! :P

Jokes aside, I'm not even against re-signing guys as Issac, Harris, Wendell, and previously guys like Fultz, but I've always been worried by the amount of those extensions, well over the real value of the players (even if a lot of times the reaction there was like genius moves by FO and friendly contracts for us..) We used all our cap space and flexibility in that same way, year after year, and that's the result.

AB is a great defender and he has some upside. Do i trade him away for any player?

No i wouldn’t. But hell yeah i trade him for a disgruntled All Star or tanking team that wants to rebuild.

Unfortunately we haven’t heard anything from Atlanta. I’d absolutely trade AB, Isaac, Cole and some picks for Trae Young

Heck, be aggressive.

Cole, KCP, Isaac, G. Harris and picks

for

Zion and McCollum

Bit i think this experiment with playing through our Wings is not sustainable for so long. Franz and Paolo are just not natural playmakers for them to effectively run the point for the majority!

Let Trae handle the Ball and see how his playmaking will elevate everyone around him. That would be damn unguardable and Bitadze and WCJ can be lob threats again.
