orlandoholic Posted January 27, 2025 Report Posted January 27, 2025 No Jimmy Butler tonight. Been suspended indefinitely after leaving the team as it was announced to him he wasn’t starting. I mean, what did they expect? Jimmy Butler off the bench? At this point, both parties are playing dirty games. Imo the Heat did this to provoke him and apparently it triggered him. They do save salary in the process Quote
Shine88 Posted January 27, 2025 Report Posted January 27, 2025 The Philadelphia 76ers are reportedly receiving plenty of interest in Guerschon Yabusele and Eric Gordon ahead of the February trade deadline as the team continues to struggle amidst an ongoing spate of injury issues. According to NBA reporter Marc Stein, Philly has "already received multiple trade offers from playoff-bound teams for Yabusele, who has been an effective addition to the Sixers' frontcourt after his strong play in the Olympics for the silver-medal-winning hosts. ... Word is there has likewise been trade interest registered in veteran guard Eric Gordon, who is shooting nearly 50 percent from three-point range in 14 games in January. The belief is that the Sixers want to gauge results over the next week-plus before firming up their trade deadline approach." https://bleacherreport.com/articles/10152447-76ers-trade-rumors-eric-gordon-guerschon-yabusele-eyed-by-nba-playoff-contenders Yabusele would be a nice addition in that Moe Wagner role. Yabusele and an upgrade over Cole would do wonders for our bench. Quote

I want a trade as much as anyone, but it needs to be an improvement, not a move just to make a move. Who’s to say now that we’re healthy that TDS can’t fill that Moe role off the bench? Also, if we stagger lineups where one of Boogie or P are on the floor, that lineup void of Moe being out isn’t nearly as massive. Quote
All Eyes On Me Posted January 27, 2025 Report Posted January 27, 2025 Jimmy Butler suspended again for Miami. Was told he wasn’t starting tonight and stormed out Quote
Luke_FfS Posted January 27, 2025 Report Posted January 27, 2025 Butler absence could actually be a bad new for us, as their team is surely more cohesive without him at this point. Cannot imagine teammates trusting him after everything that has happened recently. Quote
Shine88 Posted January 28, 2025 Report Posted January 28, 2025 The Clippers, Heat, Hornets, Lakers, Magic, Pistons, and Timberwolves have all held exploratory trade talks with the Bulls centered on Lonzo Ball. Chicago would be open to moving Ball’s $21.3 million expiring contract in exchange for second-round draft capital. https://x.com/esidery/status/1884029896781095392 Quote

Nice to have ball than cash considerations. No pun intended. Quote
All Eyes On Me Posted January 28, 2025 Report Posted January 28, 2025 If we could start just one game without our heads lodged firmly up our backsides, it would be great Quote
All Eyes On Me Posted January 28, 2025 Report Posted January 28, 2025 Ugh… wake the hell up. There’s no excuse to come out this flat in a rivalry game Quote
