And what was up with Paolo tonight? Every time he put the ball on the floor someone would swoop in and take it as if they were snatching a piece of candy from a sleeping infant. It seemed that easy. Once again that's what happens when you don't have a legitimate point guard running the floor. It also takes its toll on both Banchero and Wagner.

That was Paolo's problem going back to last season. He would turn the ball over by putting the ball on the floor with his arm extended enough where the ball is snatched from him. I mentioned it last season as a problem he needed to fix.

About 4 or 5 hours before the game I saw that Middleton was listed as OUT on the injury report. I was surprised to see him on the court. Right now, the Bucks are not very good defensively to be a legitimate contender in the playoffs. Too inconsistent on that side of the floor. We can't say they played great defense tonight. It was horrible shooting by us. Just think, if we had an offense like the Bucks and they had our defense we would both be up there with the Cavs and Celtics! And isn't it amazing that less than a year ago we took the Cavs to a game 7 in the playoffs? And in three of those games we absolutely destroyed them. And look at them now. Did the coaching change make that much of a difference? If they improved that much you would think that we could have too. Just wonder where we would be without all of these injuries?

iron sharpens iron. I do think both team benefited from that 7game series.

Terrible. It's games like that that make me feel if the East wasn't so weak we'd be struggling to make the playoffs.

That’s part of it. We pulled away some miracle wins though.

I haven’t watched the game, but we always struggle with tough teams. So i can imagine the Bucks played good D.

We struggle a lot with playmaking. So if teams are willing to play defense it will always look ugly.

They didn't play particularly great D. They just collapsed the paint and said "shoot 3s if you want" and, well, you know the rest.

Not to pile on, but they were talking about JI before the game and praising his ability to hit the outside shot. I almost choked! I’m like, are you delusional? The man is shooting 21% from the 3pt line this year! It’s that kind of stuff that makes me question whether we truly have the commitment to take the necessary actions to get a ‘ship.

I agree. I cringed when I saw Cole starting.

I questioned why at one point Mosley had Cole and AB in the game at the same time. Ball movement was stagnant because it was not clear as to which of the 2 was the ball handler.

I mean, was AB playing point guard while Cole played shooting guard. Which ever way it was, the plan did not work.

Weltman for ya.

Offense? offense? are talking about Offense? We don’t need no offense.
