That last sentence sums up my displeasure with Weltman since day 1. We clearly have several holes that need to be filled and yet year after year those aren’t addressed. Nick Richard’s going to the Suns for a bag of chips when we are down plenty of bigs is exactly the type of complacent and lazy style of management we’ve come accustomed to.

Exactly. Trajan Langdon fixed the Pistons shooting problem as soon as he took over, and for cheap, too. This dude been here since 2017 and we been the worst shooting team since then. Pathetic. Langdon provided Cade Cunningham with the spacing he needed to take his game to the next level and they been one of the hottest teams in the league. Paolo was averaging damn near 30 ppg with the worst spacing in the league. He has to work for every shot, and it's been like that since he's been here. The man damn near begged for a table setter all off-season, only for Weltman to force Suggs to play out of position.

We better not see this team in the playoffs. Unfortunate because i think we would be tied up on 3-6 race and drawing them on the playoffs would be disaster even when we are healthy unless we make a major trade. I like our chances better against frontrunner knicks

This was absolutely pathetic tonight. I have never seen a more pathetic shooting team in all of my years watching basketball. And it's been that way for years now. Also, not having a legit point guard to run the offense is a major problem. That too has been an issue for quite some time. All this defense being a top priority is fine and all. But if you don't have any kind of offense guess what? You ain't going nowhere. We are so easy to beat right now. All opposing teams have to do is just pack the paint and let us shoot 3's all night long. Then when we shoot 18 percent we hang our heads and stop playing defense. It seemed like they mailed it in tonight. I sure hope to see a better effort versus Boston on Friday night. As for what I think we will do at the trade deadline? Nothing of course. They'll say something like "once we get our injured players back, we'll be fine".

let them savor the moment. they earned it this game. obviously, grit alone is not enough for us to beat good healthy teams. we need to be healthy and at full force also obviously.

And what was up with Paolo tonight? Every time he put the ball on the floor someone would swoop in and take it as if they were snatching a piece of candy from a sleeping infant. It seemed that easy. Once again that's what happens when you don't have a legitimate point guard running the floor. It also takes its toll on both Banchero and Wagner.

True that we need to be fully healthy to compete with the likes of Milwaukee. Also, wouldn't hurt to add a decent 3-point shooter and or a point guard. However, I think that management will stand pat once again at the deadline.

About 4 or 5 hours before the game I saw that Middleton was listed as OUT on the injury report. I was surprised to see him on the court. Right now, the Bucks are not very good defensively to be a legitimate contender in the playoffs. Too inconsistent on that side of the floor. We can't say they played great defense tonight. It was horrible shooting by us. Just think, if we had an offense like the Bucks and they had our defense we would both be up there with the Cavs and Celtics! And isn't it amazing that less than a year ago we took the Cavs to a game 7 in the playoffs? And in three of those games we absolutely destroyed them. And look at them now. Did the coaching change make that much of a difference? If they improved that much you would think that we could have too. Just wonder where we would be without all of these injuries?
