We outscored their bench 50-15. We wore these guys down. And to do this on the road on the second night of a back-to-back is very impressive.

thibs is known to play his starters to the ground. outscoring thibs bench is always  a gimme.

but kudos still to our bench players which are also our starters a season ago.

It's all about Brunson's ineffective down the stretch due to a bruised eye. /just kidding

I agree. I think the Knicks held Towns out underestimating our depleted squad. I don't believe he was injured. In my opinion the Knicks thought they had enough fire power to beat the Magic without Towns

KAT did sustain an injury during the Knicks last game on Saturday night against the Bulls when he took a hard fall driving to the basket. It's a knee injury. He was limping pretty bad and left the game before it ended.

LOL! This is another line that Knicks fans will use as an excuse. They'll even complain that the officiating was unfair!

Yeah, Okay. They play Toronto 2 nights from tonight (Jan. 8th). So, I'm keeping an eye out on that game to see how quickly he bounces back from that knee injury.  ; )

Happy to be wrong about this one. Good win and hard to believe it was the same team that played Utah last night. I hope we get NY in the playoffs.

Good to see our vets show up in a game we needed em. Cole, KCP, Dell, JI all delivered tonight.

Very impressive. go Magic! I think i owe a few apologies to Cole and Wendall.

You and others weren't wrong a few games ago about how poorly the 2 were playing.

In one other recent game that we won--including tonight--Cole did a better job of being under control and getting others involved instead of trying to win the game by himself.

With Cole at point guard tonight, the ball was distributed where it touched more hands and gave teammates like Wendall and KCP the confidence to make the open shots.

I was impressed.

Edit:  I think a lot of the improvements made has to do with coaching.

I find it interesting that Mose got out on the floor with them yesterday in practice, and last night the teamwork, passing, and Cole’s approach were all significantly improved over the previous game.

Another remarkable win.

Knicks not beating the front runner accusations.

Wendell, Cole, JI, KCP all turned up. Great response from everybody.

Anthony Black low key made a pretty big impact on this game defensively and as a playmaker.

Jett even had a few flashes this game that made me think "ok maybe he is a rotation player".

Mose for COTY.

Great win to make up for yesterday one, but against the Knicks is more special even if still count 1.

Best game of the season for Isaac? Hope he'll find his form, he's been healthy as far as we know, we would really need his best version in 2025.
