That's a big "IF", MagicOne. Paolo and Franz have been putting up big numbers, but for the Magic to win a championship hinges upon having a surrounding cast of shooters and a very good point guard. When will that happen in this era, no one knows.

I think that’s a really important point, TMF. An individual stats are nice and all, but the ultimate barometer of success is how the team does.  We’re missing a few key pieces, and we also need a better designed offense and better team play.  I don’t much care what individual stats those guys put up, if it doesn’t translate into team wins, it ultimately doesn’t mean very much.

TMF and JJZFL I agree 110 percent that the Magic need to surround Paolo and Franz with a couple of consistent shooters and a solid PG if they are to become a serious championship contender. Very true that Shaq and Penny had a bunch of good shooters. Dwight and Jameer did as well. If these moves were to be made by the FO (if they finally wake up and realize these missing pieces) then I believe that we can consistently win 55-60 games a season and be a quality contender year after year.

Congratulations to Dwight again for making the HOF..twice!! He's going in as an NBA player and as a player on the 2008 Men's Olympic Basketball team that won the Gold Medal. Congrats also to Billy Donovan for making the HOF as a coach for the Florida Gators. Speaking of the Gators, they are in the Championship game versus Houston. Walter Clayton Jr. is phenomenal. He became the first player since Larry Bird to have back-to-back 30-point games in Elite 8 and Final 4 contests. Roy Williams who coached Michael Jordan at North Carolina as an assistant coach, said that Clayton Jr. "is the real deal". I agree. He is a great shooter and consistently makes clutch shots. He has a great NBA career ahead of him. He's the type of player that we need here on the Magic.

Just saw Franz  pass out of just outside the paint to someone at the 3 point line. This is our never ending argument. Should he use his natural skills and be that guy we say hogs the ball? Or pass to another Magician to miss his shot. Spoiler alert, he missed.

Super game watching tip from a fan. If you get a feed on a certain water body from the east you can see everything from the Arena, halftime shows, tv break commentary,fans sitting weird tv break on court shenanigans. It's so much better then a real broadcast. Take it from someone who had direct TV and all the sports packages for two decades, it's better until it doesn't work. And then it's still better knowing it's free.
