They played to tank, we were at home playing for... everything after already losing one bad game with them a couple days before. There's not a single reason in the world to have a close game and not put them away by 10 or 20 before the last minutes. Referee's problem solved.

Unequivocally true mate

I think if this season hadn't been such a disaster AB's development would be getting talked about a lot more positively than it has been. He kind of just gets lumped into the "Weltman sucks" conversation but I think he's shown real skill development year on year as a ball handler and downhill driver and it's allowed him to use his passing a lot more. His defense is generally excellent too even if he still commits dumb fouls too often.

AB has shown glimpses but he’s still super raw. Point Guard is the hardest position in sports to perfect and it usually takes guys 3-4 years to figure it out. He’s got an interesting skillset, but with this iteration of the team I don’t think he’d ever start alongside Suggs in the backcourt unless he became a league average 3 point shooter or we found a starting Center that was. I’m fine with AB as the 6th man next year as long as we address all the scrubs not named Jalen in our backcourt.

I've shared a few times (a lot of kittens have died in the meantime) the reasons why I think that starting Cole at PG is a complete franchise failure, and not only for the inability of the FO to improve on that role.

- Playing with two high usage guys is not a good fit for him (or for anyone else needing the ball in his hands)

- He's at his best coming off the bench with less offensive talent in the lineup  (and worst defenders in the other team).

- His defense isn't helping a lot in the start of games and third quarters, were we have huge negative numbers on +/-

- He's simply not a PG and will never be.

I would understand sticking with that decision if we were producing great numbers with that starting lineup and winning a lot of games... we're not. We're playing awfully, we're completely out of control and losing positions in the standings, we've been plain horrible in a favorable stretch that was meant to be a huge asset to finish the season on a high note. Just make something, try to revert this mess, and starting AB while slotting back Cole in his usual role is the easiest fix in the world, and we seem unable to even do that. Use the added def to up the tempo and have more fastbreaks. I don't care if he's raw, and if he'll have up and downs for sure. At worst, AB will gain reps for the future playing with our two best guys. Or maybe will work and we'll become watchable again. Maybe he'll flourish, I don't know. But please, just do something, anything. I cannot really understand the pleasure in self damaging ourselves that way.

Start AB, KCP, Franz, P5, Goga

intensity is set. We have to go back to wjat we our known for. Defense.
Don’t know why wendell is forced to play with the starters, probably spacing for P5 but it is not helping set the tone.

I think we can win this game y'all. Mr. Big Shot, Bobby Portis is out.

I think Goga can handle Brook Lopez.

Yes we can and we will!

Nice little start. However, the Bucks will have this game tied or will have the lead when the first quarter ends. Especially with the lineup we have in there now. Tank city folks.

Bad prediction.  Unexpectedly good start.  Who knew we were so good from 3?  Good ball movement also.  Very pleasant surprise so far.
