We have all the talent and skill for the team but an inexperienced coaching staff that I dont want to waste a talented rosters window. If we had JJ Redick, Mazzulla, Udoka or Kerr this team would be at 40+ wins even with all the injuries.

That's not going to happen. They will keep everything the same. The same players and coaches. Injuries will be used as the main excuse for what will eventually be a 33-49 season. In the upcoming draft they will pick another player with"tremendous upside, length, and a strong defensive mindset". They will maybe bring in one free agent who is a bench player-type at best. Continued head scratching moves upcoming folks.

What about Stan Van Gundy? Or is he completely retired at this point?

we need change just for the sake of change. we can't expect our current team to just remember how to win. there must be a catalyst. 

no energy guy right now. KCP's supposed leadership is not working, JI regressed big time. we should be developing our young guns with this type of game where we are leading big coming into the fourth. but we simply can't win anymore.

And when p5 was out were Franz  was operating,

That was FUN! and we just got broken.

been a fan for 30 years now. 
 
This is not new, this is what magic basketball is about.

I would be cool with SVG or his brother Jeff.

 

Maybe bring back Scott Skiles if he would have any interest. I would even bring back Jaq Vaughn.

 

I would gauge former players interests in coaching:

Rajon Rondo, see if Steve Nash wants to try again (most former players are successful coaching on 2nd and 3rd attempts--Jason Kidd), maybe Jameer Nelson?

 

See if any big name coaches would be interested in NBA (college is risky bringing up except for an alpha like Dan Hurly),

 

 

In the meantime we should fire Mosely. I like him as a person but this team is so weak mentally and needs a change. He may be a good coach in the future but we need to try to make noise this season in the playoffs and with him as coach we will miss the playoffs.

We should make one of our assistants interim head coach and see what he can do with the team for the rest of the season. We need a shake up!!!

The reason why so many of us life long fans want Weltman fired. It's the guys in charge that have sabotaged the team at every critical junction. It's in the literal DNA of the Magic as a franchise. We need some new blood guru. Old school thinking will only prolong the suffering. 

We need a progressive mind who lives and breaths basketball, not some suck up, tow the line executive.

I think our roster is a good roster despite everyone wanting to trade our players. Just poorly coached. Strength and conditioning let them down with all the injuries we have had to a young deep team. Also shooting coach should be expelled from coaching in the NBA lol

 I think that some players are better than how they’ve played this year, but not all of them. At this point, guys like Cole, JI and WCJ are who they are, and they don’t fit. JI and WCJ are both shooting in the 20% level from beyond the arc and still chucking away. Cole is one of the biggest turnstiles in the NBA on D and is super selfish on O. Paolo might kick Cole off the team himself here soon.

Im out of words. We are looking at 5 more losses. I don’t see how we pull out a W currently. 

And we won’t even be rewarded a Top 10 pick either. In the West we’d have our chance at a top 3 pick right now, but not in the east

Yeah, the play-in is ridiculous and needs to go. Nobody is gonna want to win that 9 vs 10 game. Get embarrassed by the Cavs repeatedly on national tv while getting a non-lotto pick, or get a decent chance at a top 4 pick? I know which one I’m hoping for.
